It is relative,y easy… 4k better for everything but hardcore gaming, most specially FPS games… 4k far better from evey prespective, and for all around gaming with 60hz gsync is great. For quick games, multiplay fps it sucks 🙂

Hi everyone! I have a spare 3080RTX so I would like to put together a clevo laptop 🙂 So I am looking for any kind of barebone among these, however I prefer 17 col machines 751DM2, 751TM1, 775DM3, 775TM1, P870DM3, P870TM1 + 330W charger All I would like to have is a barebone preferably without cpu, ram, gpu. preferably with 330W charger. Thanks for the info. What I have leart regarding gsync (had 30+ clevos) you need to find the exact panel which it is assembled with, then you are good to go. Otherwise forget gsync, bios, cpu, gpu and panel needs match. If i manage to get the x170, i will do the 4k replace to FHD, for me the AUO 5.1 would be good, however QHD 165hz would be better 🙂

For SM-G I think it was assembled with FHD 240mhz.... only KM-G had 300hz FHD panel with GSYNC (however I am note sure)

But gsync works? Any panel could be put in, even 4k 144hz, however only original screen will support gsync.

Hi All! I am about to buy a x170km-g, however it has 4k display. I would use it mainly for gaming, so I need to replace to a FHD high refresh screen. Could anyone help, what 1080p screen x170km has which are gsync compatible? (original types) Thanks

I have prepared the vapor chamber mod on NBR 🙂 The P870 is still a beast, 9900k can max out the 3080. However the cpu side of the 870 is very weak compared to the x170. Also the keyboard of it is terrible... I had many of them with broken cable, resulted in few broken keys or broken backlight. What I do not like in the x170 are the 2 chargers... one 330W is fine for 9900k and 3080... My opinion if you can find a cheap x170 then go for it, otherwise a cheap p870 is still rockin'!

clevo is a great machine but the keyboard. it is a CRAP. the cable underheat breaks easly. certain color goes out than certain keys… for used machines whick were taken apart it is quite common… i bough a brand new also had 2 dead keys..

Price: 2080 RTX - 480EUR, 3080 RTX - 890EUR Condition: used Warranty: none Reason for sale: one is not needed Payment: paypal, bank transfer Item location: Hungary Shipping: DPD or other currier International shipping: preferable EU but it can be discussed Handling time: 1-5 day Feedback: new here, quite known on NBR (in NBR archive it can be checked), ebay 21 year membership with 941+ feedback, zero negative Specification: Clevo RTX 2080 8GB mxm, Clevo RTX 3080 16GB mxm Proof of ownership: Time Stamped pictures My 751Tm1 runs with 2080, and I am ahead to make a mod for the 3080 (bough on ebay), however to be honest the only game I play is overwatch, where the 2080 is more than fine. Anyways, I sell one of the 2 cards, whichever goes, I keep the remaining one. If it is the 2080, than I make the 3080 mod. Shipping in EU is not a big deal, the cost on the buyer, but with DPD it is 20-25EUR approx but it depends on the country. Later on I will put picutures (3080 in the original box, 2080 in my clevo) Let me know if there is any question.

hi Guys, I am considering the same for my 751tm1 🙂 -what bios do you use? Or needs to be used to avoid black screen? - 775tm1 heatsink mod is difficult? it there any tutorial for that? thanks
