    75°C. Unfortunately, there is still no heatsink comparable to the vapor chamber. In my system, the temperature doesn’t exceed 63°C without liquid metal . I’m only using Thermal Grizzly Duronaut, not the newer Duronaut Pro.

    There isn’t a big difference in performance between the 9900K and 9900KS. Even running at 5.0 GHz, 5.1 GHz, 5.2 GHz, or 5.3 GHz on all cores, the performance difference isn’t significant. At most, you’re looking at around 5–10 FPS on average, and that’s only if you can keep the temperatures under control with air cooling. With a closed-loop liquid cooler (AIO), the thermal situation may improve, allowing you to push the CPU further. However, you still won’t gain more than around 12–14 FPS at most.

    Yes, I would consider a 9900K running 5.2 GHz all-core at 1.37V fixed Vcore with AVX2 -2 to be a very good chip, definitely above average and potentially a golden sample/top-binned chip. However, the exact bin quality also depends on stability and the test workload, since some chips can pass light benchmarks at that voltage but need more voltage under heavy AVX2 loads. As for where to find one, unfortunately there’s no reliable way to know beforehand. It’s basically silicon lottery. The best option is to find a seller who can provide actual CPU-Z/HWiNFO screenshots and, ideally, proof of stability at 5.2 GHz / 1.37V. If I come across a properly tested 9900K with these characteristics, I’ll let you know.

    The vapor chamber heatsink with the adapters was great for cooling but rtx 3080 with new nvidia drivers at 150w don’t need it … In addition, whenever I need to access the CPU to replace the thermal paste, change the thermal pads, or replace the CPU itself, I have to remove the vapor chamber heatsink first. This has become very inconvenient, time-consuming, and completely unnecessary.

    My friend, all of this depends on the silicon lottery, regardless of the CPU model. Low voltage at high frequencies is purely a matter of silicon lottery, no matter what.

    I suggest to flash the GPU vbios again by spi programmer.. don’t use Nvflash Perhaps this method could solve the problem, but I recommend choosing the VBIOS from a device with the same ID as yours. https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/281769/281769

    With modded Bios - Before put the 1070 mxm gpu You must to choose an SG mode into bios then save the settings then turn off the laptop then put the 1070 gpu into the master mxm slot
