  1. Hello everyone, I am planning a GPU upgrade on my HP EliteBook 8570w and am looking for assistance with a custom VBIOS patch to bypass the HP whitelist and ensure proper display initialization. I am upgrading from a working Nvidia Quadro K2000M to a Dell-sourced AMD FirePro M5100. Using a CH341B hardware programmer and NeoProgrammer, I have successfully extracted and verified a clean dump of the card's factory VBIOS (it is confirmed to have SK Hynix VRAM, and the internal string shows BR46584.001.FGL VENUS). I have attached this raw .bin file to this post, as I understand it is usually safer to custom patch the card's original firmware rather than flashing a generic file. Here are my exact host system specifications: Host System: HP EliteBook 8570w System Board ID: 176B HP System BIOS Version: 68IAV Ver. F.43 Boot Mode: Pure UEFI (Native) Internal Display Panel: Standard FHD 8-bit LVDS Panel (LG Philips LP156WF1 - Non-DreamColor) Target OS Setup: Dual-booting Windows 10 and Debian 12 Could someone please help modify my attached original VBIOS with the proper subsystem IDs and ACPI adjustments to work cleanly with my 176B motherboard and standard LVDS display? Thank you so much for your time and expertise! PS. Though I know my way around basic command lines, I am not a computer expert; that's why I'm here asking for help.
