  1. BufferMod said he never released the PCIe 3.0 patched BIOS. Only 64GB memory one is shared. I co-authored the PCIe 3.0 part as well however. If someday I could get a P570WM mainboard to experiment maybe I could try it out myself.
  2. There should be a in-BIOS update picker if I recalled correctly. Official method to update the BIOS requires MS-DOS environment. You may include the BIOS binary file together with AFUDOS.exe utility into the memdisk image.
  3. @Tetsu By the way as we all know 1394 is obsolete tech. If you encountered "1394 GUID missing" error message, I think you may simply disable it in the BIOS settings to get rid of it.
  4. you are comaring the unique IDs (GUID) and sizes (in hexadecimal) of the module between two BIOS files. It's totally normal that these two share exactly the same value, same ID, same size - totally normal and expected. That does NOT mean the content/code is the same. Also, I asked BufferMod and he said 3D-vision model and non-3D-vision model can share one singe prema mod BIOS file.
  5. P570WM337.PM5 should be the prema mod for P570WM3, the 3D vision model I think? @Tetsu I can find official BIOS (not prema mod) for both the non-3D-Vision and 3D-Vision model here: https://repo.palkeo.com/clevo-mirror/P570WM/
  6. The previous post made by yourself mentioned that P570WM and P570WM3 have different BIOS file names. If you got the file specifically for P570WM3, you must replace IvtQpiandMrcInit module with MMTool. UEFITool might seem to work but according to my experience it failed to boot.
  7. By the way, BufferMod does not seem to be happy to share the PCIe 3.0 BIOS, I don't know why.
  8. 1. should be the same to prema mod bios. btw i heard from other forums that prema himself no longer wants his work to be publicly shared because some vendors take advantage of his work without permission or reward. 2. you will have to boot into dos environment to fix the 1394 GUID. try google "how to boot into dos". As a Chinese I'm aware of MaxDOS toolbox and grub4dos but I don't know whether these tools fit your need. You may also need a tool like UltraISO/WinImage etc to modify the image file to add files into it. 3. yes such bios should support 64GB RAM. 4. you must use normal SO-DIMM 16GB memory sticks without any ECC feature.
  9. Co-author of BufferMod's modified PremaMod BIOS here. BufferMod gave two goals to me: 1. Unlock (or fix compatibility in other words) 16GB memory sticks, therefore the total supported system memory is raised to 4x16=64GB. 2. Unlock/fix PCIe 3.0 link speed support, raise it from 1.0/2.0 to 3.0. I do not own a P570WM(3) myself. BufferMod and several other friends of him provided help to test the modified BIOS out. Very sadly, several P570WM motherboards were damaged because of residue electric charge in the capacitors, and, something especially worthes noting: there are SO-RDIMM sticks, which are not compatible with normal SO-DIMM slots. After installing such SO-RDIMM sticks to P570WM's SO-DIMM slot, the motherboard bricked when powered on. Let's come back to the topic of supporting normal 16GB sticks. There's a module named "IvtQpiandMrcInit" in the BIOS which, just as its name suggests, is in charge of memory initialisation. There's an internal "supported SPD" table in that module, possibly is the thing that Intel calls "plan-of-record" ("POR") internally. And then there is a function in charge of checking the SPD data against that supported list. I patched the machine code to skip such checking, so that 16GB normal SO-DIMM turned out to work fine with modified BIOS on P570WM(3). As for PCIe 3.0 support, if I recalled correctly two modules of the BIOS needs to be modified. One was replaced entirely, and the other was patched. (At this time of posting I cannot remember the exact details sorry)
