Is there an option in the hidden menus for power on after power loss or power on when AC detected? Mine X170KM-G still have uncontrolled shutdowns and i can't start it from remote. But i can switch the WiFi socket off/on from remote (power supplies are connextes to the WiFi socket). Or is there a solution for the uncontrolled shutdowns in the hidden menus?

How is that possible? Clevo don't find the issue and you solved it. Unbelievable! I'm looking forward to see the final result, because i'm struggeling with uncontrolled shutdowns since two years...

@ViktorVThanks for your help. I think, its really a quiet mode issue. At the moment i use CCC 3.98 and power mode only in entertainment. Current uptime is ~100 hours. I use the quiet mode very often with Win11 because of high idle cpu usage and blowing fans. It explains the high number of crashs with Win11. At the moment i'm very happy. No crashs - also no more crashs in games. Very cool after a long horror story.

It's complete off. I can start it normal with the power button.

After some time in idle (and silent mode) it shutdown without any reason. No error in event viewer - only a uncontrolled shutdown is noticed. And i also have a lot whea logger failures in the event viewer.

1.07.08 is not bulletproof After over 90 hours it make a restartet by windows updates After another 70 hours uptime it crashed. And than it crashed after less than 24 hours. Maybe its caused by the silent mode - both time when it crashed, it was in silent mode. I will tests it and log all data with hwinfo in the backgroud.

Bios 1.07.08 looks stable at the moment. X170KM-G runs now for 55 hours without a crash. Keep my fingers crossed 😃 Edit: still no crash after 74 hours 😍 Edit2: Uptime now 84 hours 😊

Maybe a power supply issue? My new server with i9-12900 in a passive cooled case came with external power supply. The converter inside the case was not correct wired. When i've pushed the cpu to hard, the server shutoff. Before the shutoff, i heared crackling noises out of the speaker.

At the moment, the 1.07.08 looks good for me. No uncontrolled shutdown for 2 days.

7TB storage 😅 And about CPU power. I limit power in games to PL1 85w and PL2 125w. Works good for me.

15605 points are only possible with a really really good binned cpu. For 15153 points i needed 180w, -120mV, a low ambient temperature and liquid metal.

Can anyone explain me, where the Wifi card is located on the mainboard? I have a lot of WHEA logger errors in the event viewer and maybe thats the cause of the uncontrolled shutdowns. I disabled the wifi card in the device manager and it looks like, the whea errors are gone. So i will change the wifi card.

Where i can find Dream Machine Bios? I flashed back to 1.07.07 today and unlocked all features. Damn, thats a lot 😍

You're right - doenst work with xmg bios. @ViktorVDo you have a stock Clevo 1.07.09 bios version?

Thanks, i will try. I execute the .bat file yesterday but saw no difference in bios. But i don't set settings to default.

No OC. Its disabled in BIOS. Did you use Win10 or 11?

I can only talk about my problems: - system is not stable; from time to time the system shutdown without any visible reason (event viewer only detect and uncontrolled shutdown) - problems with Nvidia driver (bought Forza Horizion 5 - it crashed more than 8 times in 2 hours) - its very loud - its very hot - battery is more an UPS as a battery for mobile working - the two power supplys are not comfortable (heavy and big) and you NEED both of them. The notebook don't charge/work with only one of it For me, there is no reason to buy it. A XMG Pro 17 is faster with i9-12900H and RTX 3080Ti 16GB. It can't handle 128GB of RAM and has "only" M.2 slot, but its the better choise in my opinion.

For me not - maybe with 10th gen CPU but mine with 11gen still crashes from time to time...

To the guys with stability issues: did you use Win10 or 11? I have a new server with i9-12900 and win11 as host-system. I have the same stability issues like the x170km-g. My old server with i7-4770S and win10 as host was stable over a few years. Maybe its a Win11 issue...?!
