For now 4k looks awful unless your gaming on a couch 10 feet from tv...just checked out 1080p with chrome os GeForce now app and it looks so good it's not even funny

If you can't handle 156 decibels you need a new hobby, perhaps librarian. All kidding aside, I never did this till recently but installing 2 oses at same time is super easy, I don't have two right now but I might try again, good way to balance tasks

Picked up a 4tb crucial p3 and a team group mp44. Both are great, so far so good. With my external t7 4tb SSD and ram, wifi upgrades I have 64gb ram and 12tb of fast storage. Honestly never thought in a hundred years I'd fill 12tb but after loading all my games it only leaves 300gb off the 8tb game drives.

I bought a 3d tablet to see if I could just do a switch. I'll still need a desktop so I think I'm going to piece it and try making it myself, new hobbies are always fun. Thanks for all the input, I guess the waiting game has an infinite timer

Better than Lenovo. I returned two tablets 2 months ago and still haven't got a refund, they said they refunded them and gave me a bogus receipt. Opened a dispute with bank, got a temp credit but unsure if they'll claw it back...expensive mistakes going with lenovo

It's a great game, hated on by people that have not played first few missions. I played it for 15 hours and had fun, barely scratched the surface and I typically only play crysis and racing games. If your not interested in space or rgps then why give a biased opinion on a space rpg. Game looks good, good story, fun, interesting, and lengthy campaign. If it's the only good space rpg, what are you comparing it to?

If the tablet is good not fantastic but has super charging above 65w it's an instant buy. The Amazon hd 10 plus a 1tb micro SD is still the best deal as it feels extremely lite, and has decent performance but one reason against is horrible speakers. I loved it for a few months and still wonder how a 150 dollar tablet can be better in any aspect versus a 750 dollar tablet. I would say most of the time your going to be in shade and your m10 plus is good enough, I honestly thought the experience would be improved enough to justify cost but at the end of the day a tablet is still just a tablet,.nit picking is good but honestly the change has to be justified unless you have money to waste. Easy dropping a tablet, expensive mistakes do happen. If the given specs were in the 150 to 200 range like say a p11 plus, it's the wiser choice

Yeah after my accident I picked up a fat tyre hiboy p6 750w electric bike. Really enjoying it. Zero to fourty in a second or two. Feels like your floating from the 4in thick tyre. Really fun and can be great exercise. Brakes were adjusted at a bike shop, then I started having issues so beware of bike shops fixing brands they don't carry. Speaking of which I'm going to try fixing them now..back done Yeah I've been spending on too much stuff, bought a team group 1tb micro SD for my tablet, installed about 30 sbs 3d movies and some nature conversions. Bunch of downloaded movies and still have 40 percent left. I bought a sleeve for my tablet along with a super charger and 5 amp usb c cable. Security cameras 4 in total. And because GeForce now was half price I bought the 4080 tier for 70 cad and now I can game on my tablets and Ultrabooks if I choose. Bought a 70 dollar 1080p protector, it's not very bright or color accurate but at night it is pretty good looking image and loud enough speaker. It's beyond 100in I'd gather 140in display. It would be good if it was just a touch brighter.

W10 might be the rub. Good chance your scores will go up. You could try limiting tdp with throttlestop. Just mess with it and experiment with 10w up or down. Pity chips after 11th gen are locked down! If your really in the mood llano has a pretty good cooler claiming guaranteed 40c lower temps ha. My problem is my tablet won't crack 5700 in wildlife! Yep true bencher, I would benchmark a toaster if I could haha. I'm finding my tablets snap dragon 888 is ten percent faster than my cell phones 888 but with the tablet I get artifacting in AnTuTu 3d bench.. also some weird app reset closing glitch one every so often! Debating on exchange I have 1 day to decide go figure get a micro SD card a sleeve a anker charger and I have to return it potentially! Like 300 loss. Might just see if I can troubleshoot it I love this thing. Really weird in a good way seeing true 3d like hologram coming from a reasonably priced tablet. If the 3rd gen wasn't 2500 I'd jump on that but I hate to burst the companies ego, it's cool but not 2500 mula cool..

I was in the same boat. I swore against msi and asus but ended up picking up two. the zenbook 14 oled(fav of all time) and the vivobook 15x oled. both have strengths and weaknesses but overall the zenbook is the perfect laptop if their is such a thing. the price is incredible for what you get and witha 4tb ssd upgrade its versatility is unmatched. it doesnt game very well but with geforce now I have all bases covered. as for battery life the dells are better, screen wise the oled zenbooks are bright and sharp at 2880x1800 and 90hz they just blow you away when you see them, the perfect gift for you and your partner. I have had 0 issues with my zenbook, no crashes no bluescreens no hardware issues in 6 months and it runs like its brand new which is a first. I honestly can't talk about how good it is enough, it just makes for such a appealing deal at 1000cad. id say pick up 2 and try them out and if they are not impressing you return them, also once you buy them without warranty you can add another year throught the asus app even after 11 months of use.

you must be busy, if I had the 4080 laptop still id be benchmarking the heck out of it and dabbling in a few games. whats your score at stable clocks? I could get 51000 to 52000 offline but it wasn't really tested for stability I didn't game at those clocks. and would you say the legion is the cheapest laptop that doesn't suck for the 4080 or was the extra for the raider worth it to you, I mean you topped firestrike how bad could it be. Also temps are not as important as they used to be rather sustained speeds matter now, they all go as high as they can in the same thermal envelope. I was thinking of buying a legion 7 with a 4080 but its 2800-3200. seems a bit steep, I guess when gta VI comes out ill decide on a laptop. nothing right now to justify it except ratchet and clank a rift apart and cyberpunk 2077 and a few older goodies like RDR2

I had to... bought a 50 dollar projector off amazon thinking how bad could it be. its 1080p has bluetooth accepts hdds and a roku stick has 2 hdmi ports two usb ports and decent speakers. the image quality blew my socks off for 50 bucks. its actually not bad its sharp clear and bright with passable colors. overall im impressed and will be buying two more..ha it is just as good as my old 1080p gaming projector from 5 years ago. so things have changed in 5 years but this thing is really impressive for 50 bucks. heck its worth 500 to me, if i had seen it in store and had to pay 500 i would.

Dude that's awesome. You beat my score clean and fair...firestrike is easy, timespy I couldn't break 20 000. The Acer wasn't great. Temp issues. Honestly everyone has issues with temps on a laptop unless you get a cooler your going to be in the 80s and 90s..what are your temps, they must be high even though you laptop is effective at cooling, I'm guessing phenomenal given your scores

Not ready to upgrade yet, thinking 6k series as I have a 500 plus older games backlog, just takes forever to wrap these games. The raider is one of if not the best 4080 laptops. I wanted one but they are priced too high for my budget. Your prob going to have alot of fun setting it up and benchmarking it..4080 at least the one I had was a beast

Just disable a few cores lol It's cheating but anything goes. I returned the predator but it wasn't terrible just poor cooling. Would have kept it if it regulated temps below 90c..they should release a bios update
