Wb. How is the game. -
Just saw a bit of the review then listened to the verdict..not surprised. I thought if this gets a 9 or 10 and is well received I'm buying the premium game..I'm also going to log the 60 hours via game pass that is if it even runs at 1080p with my 3060

I have two tvs one 4k one 1080p. on the couch I can't tell the difference in clairity but up close and at 100 percent scaling its pretty enjoyable, sharp and more space to work with. but all of this is obvious. people sometimes argue 4k is clearer even from 10 feet away, shrugs. -

my gpu matched 8th place gpu in firestrike. well did slightly better. thats with ddr4 3200. funny when people that are good with words but bad at problem solving and other aspects are giving advice. but thats another story for another time 😛 here it is, they are using faster ram which can play a big role in higher scores Result (3dmark.com) good for 3rd place with the same configs -

off conversation sorry in advance. I decided to start from scratch due to a perfection itch. I want services/apps/programs/features its nice having options with an install. the only reason to delete apps is too de clutter and improve performance however I decided to give super intelligent unrestricted h2o.ai chat bot AI a chance to tweak my computer, and it worked, I got my highest scores(undervolted) with all apps/programs/features on. I have never been able to get 9k in timespy with a stock(undervolted) install and this 9k posting is with every app I like installed with spotify playing in the background. UN-FLipEN-real give AI a chance. here is the AI generated code and yes its safe lol....about as safe as it gets responsiveness.batinternet optimisation.batdebloat.bat fun fact I got my new completely stock cpu and gpu score and it isnt even with tweaked nvidia control panels settings ok the above photo is with power at normal and not max performance. below is max performance and tweaked settings in nvidia control panel but no overclock or funny stuff and no undervolting. this might be partition worthy thanks to that nifty AI chat bot. code seems pretty good. ok step one install windows 10 to jump drive and use media creation tool and then install windows step two install all drivers step three run debloat bat i posted step three reboot step four install apps that you need step five run responsiveness.bat and then step 6 restart and enjoy. this is with the crappy newest drivers yes newer in this case sucks but for arguements sake we want compatibility and with newer drivers its hit and miss but the older drivers sometimes have more issues. you should be seeing your highest scores with an overclock that you typically use with tweaked nvidia control panel settings option 7 tweak some more(kill services and apps) if your simply chasing number in the install. ok here's the final say. my highest score was obtained this way this is windows 10 not 11 which performance is better in gpu related tasks. this is easily my highest score and thats that. -

yeah its shockingly good.(bad) compared to linux from what most people say. I honestly had it running so well, and I asked chat gpt to create a .bat file to turn off unnessessary services lol it crashed and wouldn't even boot up. its good at coding, just doesn't have common sense yet(ever). I don't see ai taking over the world no more than calculators ruining society in the 50s -

Nice, Yeah I was hesitant to try it, its nice because its basically a complete works. you get as many tweaks possible while still being functional enough to be used as a daily driver. I installed it on my ultrabook, and overall a really nice bump for the integrated graphics, I can see why people with lesser systems swear by Atlas. I think im going to keep using it. Als something even better linux I managed to try out zorin and it was pretty nice to see a clean fast OS it is pretty good but not enough for me to make the switch, im just too accustomed to the microsoft windows ecosystem. -

@Mr. Fox @Papusan you guys ever used atlas OS? Im having a hard time breaking into the 60s(c) while gaming. here me almost hitting 60c, and as you know this laptop typically runs like a furnace -

I have had the privilege of acquainting myself with the Atlas OS, and I must confess that its merits have surpassed even my most sanguine expectations. The temperature differentials it exhibits, manifesting as subtly subdued thermals during onerous workloads and notably diminished levels during periods of idleness, are a testament to its efficacious design. The overarching alacrity with which it responds is a marvel, evoking a profound sense of admiration. I beseech you, esteemed individuals, to cast your discerning gaze upon this prodigious creation. Let it not be dismissed with a perfunctory wave of the hand, but rather be subjected to the inquisitive scrutiny it so rightfully deserves. For within the intricacies of the Atlas OS lies an exceptional tapestry of innovation, awaiting the cognizance of those with an appetite for the extraordinary. me with a little help from my friend cha.rles gary p.eterson t.homas. you just have to see this and also look into ai helping you tweak your system, it created me a .bat file that bumped up my performance albeit at the cost of thermals gained 50 points in timespy not sure if its just in the margin of error or what. but heres the P count with apps closed upload image -

But wait there's more. My non overclocked scores are up. Overclocked it's about even. But temps are lower. I can confirm this. My temps maxed out at 70c gpu in superposition and they have never been lower than 76c in any benchmark..pretty exciting as now I can rebench everything. heres one example. before I ran this i tested on windows 11 and with a 100mhz core overclock i got 5200~ now Im getting close with completely stock fresh boot, so I guess what people were say was true, I usually take it all with a grain of salt because nvm. but heres the stock run I'd like to add. It's not really a benchmark os but in games you get reduced latency and slightly higher frames in a few choice games. I couldn't care less about 2 extra frames if I'm going to mess around in a game that's over 144fps. But the temperatures. Hot dang. I was running cinebench at 3.3ghz and it was hovering in the low 50s..like cmon how the heck does turning off services make such a difference in temps. False values maybe? -

bit off topic but I finally managed to get ATLAS OS installed, and its pretty good, keeps almost everything essential and slims everything down in a tidy package. im around 70-80 processes with everything i need installed and running. no issues so far highly recommend it. one thing I did notice over other custom oses is the snappiness if you blink you miss the loading its just stupid fast. haven't tested gaming out yet but I am pretty confident the reports of big gains are legitimate. heres a pic of my idle temps(10c lower than stock/tweaked) -

Ok you guys are going to love this haha..I might need a bit of help installing zorin..I have made a 1tb partition and 900gb partition for games on my secondary 2tb drive..I have no idea how to do this in the zorin something else section. Little help please? I found a video on YouTube but it has different options than the zorin core that I have on my jump drive -

ok so atlas OS free is pretty good, I was stumped on how to lower processes and whatever it removed it dropped about 5-10. its free so I can't complain and im sitting at 47 on desktop and 67 with all the benchmarking apps and programs open along with some music in the background. as for performance, as I've done endless testing. it improved cpu performance slightly 80-100 timespy points and lowered temps 2c on cpu and 3c on gpu. running a undervolted 1850mhz 3060 im finally and I mean finally able to run games without thermal throttling. I'm getting power throttling in cinebench r23 now for some reason. it goes from 3.9ghz down to 3.3ghz and even though its slower im loving the 59c max temps at a lower speed. TLDR: dropped temps, increased cpu performance, lowered ram usage, and the system is unreasonably fast. -

finally got into the 50s just some experimenting going on, managed to get 13448 in cinebench r23 which is about 2300 higher than my old scores. installing atlas OS now but its taking forever, been like 20 minutes and it has not moved very far. hopefully im not screwing it up 😛 -

@Papusan are you joking bro? newer almost certainly does mean better haha. funny stuff on a more serious note, iv'e been trying out NTlite and getting a ISO made thats debloated, I have made one so far that has next to nothing and manage 64 processes with everything off, and 82 processes with afterburner/throttlestop/benchmarking program. im making small progress, but im stumped as to how you bros have like 40 processes. I even followed chris tituses tutorial on how to get lower cpu usage ect and he shows step by step how to get 40 or less processes I did it exactly as he showed and when he had 80 i had 100 when he had 40 i had 60. spent the better part of the morning and afternoon tinkering. its like tweaking is a game in itself -

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (notebook) video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-11800H,HP 88F4 (3dmark.com) got a new high score Result (3dmark.com) ----5522 in port royal NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (notebook) video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-11800H,HP 88F4 (3dmark.com) ------------- 9585 in timespy, considering im using stock 3200mhz ram and its technically a 115w 3060 id say im doing good and progressing in getting top place on the leader boards, its fun pushing a system it just sucks when you run out of options to improve performance -

@TalonI was looking for you, well I thought of you in the sense you had a omen>? How the heck and is it possible to overclock omen 16s ram, iv'e searched google and came up with nothing. how do I switch to gear 1 also im breaking records now that iv'e redone all my tweaks heres 9500 plus NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (notebook) video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-11800H,HP 88F4 (3dmark.com) also im currently trying to find a way into the omens advanced bios but i just cant find anything online -

I noticed random results also. somewhat consistant if 1 percent isn't a big deal too you, but when the difference between 10th and first is 1 percent this benchmarks randomness is a breaker. I scored 2nd but the top spot is a desktop 3060 as it has 12gb of ram and is reported as laptop. meh more interested in firestrike ultra it crossed my mind it might be modded with extra vram but who knows, ID change is likely as well -
ok a word of advice, don't overclock memory if you are going to keep it overclocked, tons of reasons not to. I have owned about 12 laptops and the ones I overvolted died sooner, the ones I overclocked died eventually, the ones I didn't overclock are still alive and kicking, now anyone can say anything but these are what I lay down and if it's coincidence then it is if not perhaps overclocking does decrease longevity but I say after all the risks just overclock core when you need the extra performance. that is the best advice i can give, so give it 200mhz on core and don't worry in general it's only overvolting(temps) that causes gpus to die.

3rd place in solar bay. don't mind me just browsing Search (3dmark.com) -
lol asking that at NBR. DOOOOO IT honestly do the overclock and see what framerates you get with and without overlcock and see if its worth it, it may not be. I run undervolted and sometimes 10c in lower temps is better than a 2fps gain, but sometimes(rarely) cards can net huge gains-20-50percent improvement in framerates

after seeing how cheap all of this is heres my omen 16s hwinfo ill try to find one but im not good at finding screens and thanks again, really helpful. ok I just checked and I cant find an oled at 16in or a mini led but surely one has to exist if not do you know how to find the best possible display for my omen 16>?
-
woah thanks alot. To my suprise I can get one for 100 cad. I was wondering if this is the right display and OLED. it seems like too good of a deal, if its 100 im buying it next week and I was wondering is it hard to replace screens perhaps ill watch a youtube video on it. I did it a long time ago but i was smart back then lol kinda on the simple side now. https://www.laptopscreen.com/English/screen-part-number/ATNA56YX01-0/?set_currency=CAD noice
