vbios look for rare vbios for P5200 graphics cards
MS-16L13 replied to MS-16L13's topic in Components & Upgrades
Prema also used the same DELL VBIOS modification that he probably wouldn't have released. The main problem I have now is the lack of DP port output. Also I recommend you check out this article which has a detailed description of the P5200.P5200 ABCD SP -
vbios look for rare vbios for P5200 graphics cards

He had previously communicated with me via email, vbios using DELL86.04.8a.00.47 -
Yes, it was originally created to replace the two MXM graphics cards, the RX480 8GB RX580 8GB. Miners previously used more than just PCI-E slot graphics cards, they would also use MXM slot graphics cards, inserting 16 of them inside a machine. But unfortunately eventually PCI-E mobile core graphics cards replaced these MXM cards, otherwise there would now be tens of thousands of MXM cards for the RTX3060 3070 3080.

China's eaby (闲鱼). If you want more you can choose to contact the manufacturer directly. I'll add some more details about these cards, most of them have no control over the speed of the cooling fan, this is due to the inability to customize the vbios, nVidia will certainly not provide any technical support for these cards, so these cards basically use the vbios extracted directly from the laptop. Most of them come from MSI laptops. Another interesting thing is that their electrical component specifications are stronger than most original laptops. This is why they score better on some testing software. In the case of the RTX5000 I have, it is using the N19E-Q5-A1 mobile core, and after some processing by the manufacturer it has become 8GB vram. It installs drivers properly and works quite well in Win10. It also performs quite well in most games I've tested, But the one I have is the QS version of the core, the official version is the same PCB as the one I have.☺️

This is the card that was created for Ethereum, and there are probably thousands of these RTX5000 graphics cards. There are some very crazy miners, and when the price of ETH spiked earlier, these regular graphics cards were in serious short supply. They chose to customize special graphics cards with some factories. These cards are PCI-E slots but do have mobile versions of the GPU cores. For example RTX3080M RTX3070M RTX3060M There are conservatively estimated to be tens of thousands of these cards and they are quite cheap now. The RTX5000 I have is only $246. The RTX3080M is only $480.These people even use professional graphics cores from the Pascal architecture for their graphics cards.

I have an MS-16L1 machine and about six months ago I replaced it with an HP P5200 C version graphics card. Although it works after flashing in the P5200 Vbios for the DGFF slot from DELL, it causes the miniDP port on the back to fail. I have tested many vbios so far, for example DELL's 86.04.8a.00.47, 86.04.a2.00.31, 86.04.8a.00.64. All three vbios have a default power consumption of 110W and a base frequency of 1316MHz and an boost frequency of 1569MHz. msi's two models 86.04.8B.00.7A and 86.04.8B.00.25. 160W default power consumption, 1582MHz base core clock frequency, 1759MHz boost frequency HP Z VR Backpack G1 Workstation 86.04.71.00.16 Default power consumption 150W Base clock frequency 1557MHz boost frequency 1747MHz The original vbios for the HP P5200 are 86.04.84.00.39 and 86.04.a2.00.23, with a default power consumption of 100W and a core base clock frequency of 1240MHz and an boost frequency of 1480MHz. As it is integrated into the bios, I have not been able to find it, and other sites have only extracted the AMD graphics card's vbios file from it. All three of the DELL models work, but cause the DP port to fail, I presume due to the different corresponding channels in the vbios. the MSI one will light up the screen, but installing the driver will just bring it down. the vBIOS of the HP Z VR Backpack G1 Workstation can only be used through the external screen, the edp internal screen will not light up. The vBIOS of the HP Z VR Backpack G1 Workstation can only be used through the external screen, the edp internal screen cannot be lit. So I would like to get the lenovo thinkpad P72 P5200 version 86.04.a2.00.19 and the fujitsu Celsius H980 P5200 version 86.04.8B.00.7E It would be great to get this WMXM-P5200E-VO version of the P5200 vbios.

On a side note, you may also be interested in this stuff☺️ This is the mobile version of the core changed out and it only has 8GB vram of video memory, yes this is a PCI-E interface 8GB vram RTX5000 with 3 video outputs

I hope to get an aetina RTX5000 afterwards, this card is very rare and I have only seen a few working ones over the years, the rest are broken.

Lenovo has the A5000 model MXM graphics card, but it is very irregularly shaped.Personally, I think these electrical components fit perfectly inside the standard MXM 3.1 TYPE-B
