  1. Here is a list of all of the Alienware unlocked BIOS' for laptops that I had saved. All credit goes to their original owners. Flash at your own risk.

Do NOT post these links elsewhere. If you want to share this publicly, upload the file yourself to your preferred sharing site. I'm missing AW14 A09 unlocked BIOS so if you have it let me know. Otherwise I believe I got the major ones here.

See the XDA link above for clues on using modern big/fast CF and SD cards. You can see the industry standards and timeline for clues about what is possible.

Oh...here is the XDA Windows Mobile forum...with some recent posts

    https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/windows-mobile.612/

There was an old HTC forum with a Windows Mobile section but I don't know where that is. Maybe became XDA? There was an old russian forum that was great but don't know if that still exists. . .

4PDA is the russian forum. A LOT of stuff is still hosted there and can still be downloaded.

I have 128gb sd card and 16-32gb cf cards in mine. 2GB SD in the older ones without SDHC support.

    I got

    iPAQ RX 3115 + 2x 3715 running Windows Mobile 2003 SE

iPAQ HX4700 running Windows Mobile 5 (I literally flash this one like once a month. It has firmware from 2003 SE to 6.5 so it's fun to play with)

iPAQ 111 running Windows Mobile 6

iPAQ 211 running Windows Mobile 6.5

HTC HD2 running Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 (I go back and forth between this and Windows Phone 7.8 on this one)

I use them either as IR remote, drawing, or just playing around with super old apps

I like her taste, lol. Is she set on EV? That's almost 911 territory and you could swipe it for your enjoyment from time to time 😁

Forgot I made a video on my car lol:

She's not into cars. All she told me was I want a Porsche in the future. I told her Taycan it is, it's an EV. She saw the frozen berry color and is set on it now lol. Originally I wanted her to get one with premium package and some other stuff (107k) but that's just an insane amount of $$$. We settled on just a few features at $83.7k which is much cheaper than the others. Of course this was supposed to be a car she gets in like 5 years. But with the accident she really really wants to fix the 330Ci even if we have to salvage it. I did tell her if we get a decent amount I can put a hefty down payment and we can just get the porsche now lol.

Here's her current car after the accident. I already talked to my BMW mechanic. It needs airbag, wheel, tire, corner turning light and strut tower mount. Of course insurance will probably find more things that "need" to fix and consider it totaled.

  4. I have a few HP iPAQs I still play with. It's funny because they can access my samba server at home.

    I currently have

    HP iPAQ HX4700

2 x HP iPAQ RX3715 (used for IR remote)

HP iPAQ RX3115 (used for IR Remote)

    HP iPAQ 211

    HP iPAQ 111

    Also have a HTC HD2

They all have a lot of storage thanks to CF and SD cards. Trying to find ways to still use them today.

  5. Since Alienware has announced their X series and their newer M series perhaps it's time to split this section even further by changing:

    2015+ Alienware 13/15/17/51m

    into:

    2015-2020 13/15/17/51m

    2021+ X14/15/17/M15/17 R5+

Just a thought. Or some sort of new way to organize them otherwise there will be a lot of models covered in the one section.

  6. Hey everyone, for those who don't know I've been working on getting a Quadro RTX 3000 MXM GPU for my M18xR2. RTX 3000 is basically a Quadro variant of the RTX 2060 (TU106).

The GPU I found happens to be about MXM 3.0b in layout made by ADLINK. This GPU is also available from Aetina and PNY in the exact same form factor. I chose this because it requires no mods besides INF and it provides the latest RTX features on an old platform.

I made a video of MXM in general here including the raptor NVMe card:

The laptop has 32GB 2133Mhz RAM, Wi-Fi6E + BT 5.2 as well. It is basically up to spec.

    No heatsink mod needed:
