Who was able to run rtx2080 on x170km? I bought heatsink from SM version and put in rtx2080 8gb- laptop is startup, loading windows, but video card is not visible in device manager, not recognised, and has PCI error, cannot install any video drivers because not visible in device manager, only AIDA64 in PCI video show RTX2080. 

Anyone have solved this issue (acpi error) ?

After running the script to enable full menus on bios 1.07.08, is there a way to reset everything?
Unfortunately the script to block the full menus again does not work, and any BIOS refuses to install, so the system is forced on BIOS 1.07.08 with unlocked menus 🤔

I'm having a weird instance sometimes where the fans aren't kicking on or speeding up like they are supposed to, causing the computer to overheat. If the bios version is the same as it was months ago, I am up to date on it too.

 

Also I have random sound distortion at times again. It's all crackily

I actually have a new question. Are there any modded VBIOS that allow you to up the wattage of the 3080? Alienware's 51M allowed up to 200W on the 2080, for instance, via VBIOS mods.

no there is no rtx 3080 modded vbios until this moment but you can make a shunt mod to increase the tgp up to 200w

On the meantime working on P775 for my kids i found X170 on ebay and maybe that work wake up my sentiment to those machines and the reason is those are latest with physical LGA... yes i bought it ... 1.3K€ XMG brand with i9-10850K and ofc 3080 also Chipset Z590.
Currently i started reading this topic in free time which is not much maybe somebody gonna answer me some questions.
I think is not worthy going 11th gen but is the 10th gen worth delid?

If IHS change which one Aliexpress or some brandet one's? Maybe is there's any working with KryoSheet?

On top gonna use HoneyWell because of low maintenance needed in future but if the liquid metal gonna make huge huge difference... maybe?

 

I working on P775 project wit i9 9900K and 3080 where i decide after some vid is not worh to do it... probably still gonna try it maybe but with direct die but that's another topic backing to the right one.

I have some rams mostly corsair 32gb bones but i start thinking to go 16gb because is really hard to find 32gb CL16 on good price... for 16gb cl14 is the lowest?

Im looking to not OC it, just system boost... i more likely looking for STABLE and COOL using it. Also going to build AIO station for P775's with china air/water cooler so in the future X170 going also gonna get WC.
BTW:
Anyone from EU (maybe even DE) want to change my 4K panel for FHD 300Hz?
The same with the keyboard my DE for US?

Is it possible to flash the KM-G motherboard with a special keyboard combination on a USB port using a USB device?
