Does anyone here ever benchmark cells or tablets? Trying to break 5800 in wild life with my sd 888

Frustrating always having to reinstall windows. Never doing anything illegal but system constantly being corrupted or compromised

Put tablet into performance mode. Placed it in freezer ran test. Scored 5735 3 points less than doing nothing

Just moved around some files via my GT75 with 10G ethernet and found a nice Time Spy score. The GPU score was pretty much near the top of the 1080 / 8750H combo at the time but the CPU score was hampered by only having one memory stick on the other side of the mainboard and I wasn't going to take it apart to make it dual channel:

8300-8400 is a nice score for a 1080. kinda sad 2 generations later a 3060 barely edges a 1080 out. I think next time ill pay more for a 5080 but not the premium for a 5090 unless its significantly better. at any rate nice score, im just trying to find a few things now....fans for my omen 16 and a 3d tv. seems like the internet has been castrated to like 5 sites, cant find anything, heck when i type science i get 2 results and then spam.

RTX 3080 GA104 16GB MXM (Shunt modded ~180w PL)

stable around 1800 core on the gpu but at the limit of throttling, will see if ptm7950 improves the temps

number 1 for omen 16 3060s..but I cheated, using a 140w vbios.

stock OC in timespy is roughly 9000

vbios mod roughly 9800

 

increasing the power helps similar to shunt modding but I hope it doesn't fry my gpu like what happened to @Meaker

 

 

going on a year with this vbios and no signs of failure, if this remains good id say its safe to do this but the small bump in performance for the risks if your just gaming is pointless, heck I dont even recommend overclocking.

My GPU did not die, that's gone to someone else who is having fun. It was the motherboard with too much mounting pressure on the CPU side I think.

Bro @Papusan maybe he can share his results.. I saw that with air his scores are the highest and he doesn't even get hand picked chips like the others, I think I got into benching after seeing jhnksss and paps score on laptops. Sad that laptops have gotten so whimped down that the elite are ditching them in favor of desktops

Meaker you didn't suffer from substrate bending did you?


I was having this issue with the aftermarket heatsink and stock mounting screws, I replaced them with springs on longer screws and repaired the squished pins in the socket and it's happy now.

New result with VRAM +1700

The GPU clocks varies between 1840 and 1870Mhz

I can only dream of CPU temperatures that low 😅😅😅
