Nice scores.

I managed to do a safe vbios flah and now my gpu runs at 140w max vs 115w. Definitely a bump in performance but not huge. Basically I get 115w overclocked speeds at stock but while overclocking I don't get near 11000 because of power throttling.  And that cannot be fixed safely

after flashing my vbios to 140w ill post an update, but im having difficulties getting my performance back to where it should be, either way its a nice bump. @ssj92 you have a nice setup, I thought about  buying a 4090 alienware and decided against because i don't like having the best computer on the market, not sure why but I like pushing midrange into the high range vs peaking with the top end. I think my next laptop will likely be a 5090 or a desktop, no crystal ball but I have an idea.

Not my highest score, but I'd have to re install wndoze 11 again and im not ready for that, my best was around 25 000 gpu

you guys have some pretty good scores, @KING19 that gpu you have is perfect for 1080p/1440p gaming. I think @ssj92 needs to try madd doggs tweaks ill post it in a bit.

try this: I have used it a few times and at the very least brings your cpu score up a bit

also when gaming I don't run at 162/300 because of overheating after 10 minutes. realistically not many laptop owners run max clocks for gaming for various reasons but heres my normal score for gaming. I undervolt and overclock a bit with cpu locked in at 3.9ghz vs 4.2ghz

those are pretty good scores especially the cpu. I always thought the 3060 was light years ahead of the 1660ti, but thats not the case, you basically get the same experience i do, i get to run shadows at high, you medium. in the end the difference is barely worth the hassle of selling your laptop and then slapping down another 500 bucks

It actually is. Around 50% faster than the 1660ti, Mines is overclocked but still nowhere close to a 140w RTX 3060.  Also RTX 3060 is the successor of the RTX 2060

I see ill watch those videos thanks for sharing...I was thinking experience wise, you are able to play all the same games I do. like im getting 90fps in jedi fallen order, you would get like 50-60fps so we would both have a good experience. I wouldn't mind having a 1660ti laptop my older laptop was a 1650 and it was basically the same expereince as my new laptop. only difference I notice is I can crank AA up to 8x or TAA. but to be honest AA doesn't help graphics as much as you would think. one thing I gained is DLSS

Thanks, a bit higher than 13K is pretty good for 9th gen. Yours (11th gen) has a ca. 20% IPC gain over it but you would only realize that with a 11980HK in multicore loads.

Pretty impressive that you get a bit higher scores with about 0.6 GHz less in the 11800H which is a nice workhorse. I think it scores ca. 14.5K on my Dell workstation with very little effort and less than 125W while getting to 13K with 9th gen was difficult and needed around 4.8 Ghz all cores and up to 180W - feel the heat 🙂

I only do Time Spy but it kind of sucks here as the GPU only gets about 155W and that limits it to ca. 9.9K stock and with a lot of tweaking it got to ca. 10.7K. With 200W up to 12K should be possible but not sure I find it that interesting to get there as there is a risk of bricking that rather costly GPU and I am not even interested in gaming...
