Hi there new NBR Forum. I have a problem with my P775TM1-G. When I plug it to an external TV(FullHD 60Hz) I sometimes got a kind of stuttering when I play Dying Light. Normally the RTX 2080 will work fine. What could that be?

Did you try disabling hybrid graphics? The cable can also be the culprint.

This model doesn't have hardware power connected to the embedded gpu. Only the dedicated card works here. Not Intel so that doesn't apply to P7xx and P8xx and the later X170 models

Did you try another hdmi cable!? One with hdmi2.1 or 2.0?

Hi. Are you playing with exclusive fullscreen or windowed fulscreen? Try to:

1. Disable fulscreen optimalizations

2. Play game with exclusive fulscreen

3. In nvidia control panel/adjust desktop size and position on tv set perform scalling to GPU

Does your TV/External Monitor have any modes on it like Game mode etc or any image processing. If so TURN them off if its only on the external screen your seeing the stuttering on.

If however your seeing stuttering on both screens its going to be either the Cable to the external screen or its a nvidia driver issue, the latter can be tested by downgrading the GPU driver after a DDU clean back to the 472 branch of drivers.

Also are you using Slimmed drivers or the drivers directly from Nvidia? if the former try the latter if the latter try the former.

Hi!

I am interested in the igpu of P775TM1-G.

What do you mean when you say there isn't hardware power connected to the embedded gpu?

Do you mean there is no power routed to the IGPU pins on the CPU socket? (Just my first guess)

Also, how do you know this information if I may ask?

Thanks!
