Old NBR member gettig back into things...

It's been years since I've done much forum-scrolling and I totally missed the news that NBR was gone until recently.

I used to be active many years ago when I had a Dell XPS M1730; now that I've picked another one of these beasts up as part of a growing retrocomputing collection(it's arguable that an '08-'09 laptop is retro, but I digress) I was trying to find some of the old threads about keeping these temperamental beasts running. I found the archives, and some other info that pointed me here.

I'm usually a lurker, but I wanted to join up for old times' sake. Social media simply doesn't collate and catalog information like forums do. 😛

I take it you found the nbrchive as well? I know some people try to use way back machine with not much luck.

so nice to see this website. I often wondered what happened to all the excellent people who gathered at NBR. This day just got a lot better.
