 i can overclock from 50 hertz up to 200 hertz.

i always ask myself should i overclock or not.

honestly do the overclock and see what framerates you get with and without overlcock and see if its worth it, it may not be. I run undervolted and sometimes 10c in lower temps is better than a 2fps gain, but sometimes(rarely) cards can net huge gains-20-50percent improvement in framerates

it does makes a difference. i use tropics benchmark same people that does heaven benchmark.  100 will add 10fps. no extra heat. even upto 200 no over heat maybe stays at 65-67c

Quadro 2000M stock clock is, what, 550 MHz?

 

It is a GF106 GPU chip from NVIDIA.  That same chip is clocked at around 800 MHz in desktop GeForce cards.

 

I think that it is safe to overclock with +200 MHz with no worries, as long as the thermals are staying under control.  You might be able to go even higher with a modded vBIOS.  These older Fermi/Kepler laptop GPUs had a lot of overclocking potential.  NVIDIA was known to artificially limit the GPU speed back then.

ok a word of advice, don't overclock memory if you are going to keep it overclocked, tons of reasons not to. I have owned about 12 laptops and the ones I overvolted died sooner, the ones I overclocked died eventually, the ones I didn't overclock are still alive and kicking, now anyone can say anything but these are what I lay down and if it's coincidence then it is if not perhaps overclocking does decrease longevity but I say after all the risks just overclock core when you need the extra performance. that is the best advice i can give, so give it 200mhz on core and don't worry in general it's only overvolting(temps) that causes gpus to die.

yes  clock at 5.50 mhz

memoey is 900mhz

and shaders 1100mhz

the memory and clocks are unified wich means if i want to ocerclock cloks i will also coverclock memory.

actually this card in order for me to use higher clocks i need to move the slider of the memory as tje clocks slider is grey out.

the thing that lets hardware degrade and die off quickly is voltage and heat. so just do some testing, if theres not much additional heat and u dont overvolt theres no real worries 🙂

off topic. if i remmeber correctly you mentioned you face shut off.? can you explain exactly what happens. i do face shut offs but they have been minimized.

You're probably at the overclock limit now for a old DDR3 GPU as most DDR3 GPU memory is clocked at 900mhz and some are clocked at a high 1001mhz.
