Papusan Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Newer is always better bro @Mr. Fox That said, no matter how many changes Microsoft makes, if we compare Windows 11 to Windows 10, there's no contest. Windows 10 is significantly faster and, in fact , loads Windows Explorer instantly. Windows 11's File Explorer preloading feature is here: it doubles RAM usage and offers little speed advantage at idle, but the difference is more noticeable under load. 1 "The Killer" ASUS Z790 Apex Encore | 14900KS | 4090 HOF + 20 other graphics cards | 32GB DDR5 | Be Quiet! 6730b Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago ! :O) 10 ltsc iot 2021 installed & alive. On a brand new Lenovo P14s. 2nd 14" Thinkpad in 3 weeks, appreciate format \ weight \ keyboard etc. Both at great discounted price. No OS when bought, used Rufus & iso. One single hurdle, no wifi !? Apparently no compatible driver in this 10 ltsc iso. As having no wired router available right here, fixed using usb internet tethering from a phone, downloaded initial updates\drivers, wifi came to life. After the usual zillion :O) downloads \ updates \ restarts, everything fine. Immediate activation with valid key. Local account & O&O shutup, of course. 1 Dell Precision 5540 w10 ltsc 1809 (+ O&O shutup), HP i5 desktop w10 ltsc 1809 (+ O&O shutup), Dell E7440 w8.1, Tosh w8.1.
