This is a good start. Correct bro @Mr. Fox? Let'em bleed 🙂 On top you can avoid have to throw your fully working older hardware paid by the taxpayers in the trash bin as Microsoft demand if you want their support forwards.

The union backtracked on moving to linux quite quickly.  They are now only dumping office for libre.  That will probably be backpedaled on as well.

It still goes in the right direction...

Windows loses 400 million users in just 3 years and at this rate it will no longer exist in a decade.

Got some bad news.

https://gs.statcounter.com/os-version-market-share/windows/desktop/worldwide

Windows 11 will officially take the lead in the OS marketshare this month. Win 10 only has less than 1% lead now, MS scare tactics are working!.

We may see a change once the EOL date have passed in Oct. And new pc's (prebuilt junk/Jokebooks and tablets) still flood the market. And I guess all of them have Windows 11 installed. Of course Win 11 will take over the marketshare.

The world runs on windows, Always will. No one will change to linux in governments, Large business etc as the scale is to huge to complete. Everyone will still use windows, people will bitch, but ultimately buy a new system or rufus it.  Governments and large business will buy new systems to comply and MS knows this.

I tried to switch to linux and found that I was missing so much that I just gave up on the idea.  I will never goto macOS so, windows it will be.

Jez does hit the nail on the head with this one.  It's the same nail I have been driving since 2015 when The dipshat CEO cancelled windows mobile/phone for effing business facebook.

From Video Descrption:
Don't install KB5060829 if you value your time. I lost taskbar and could not get it back. So I uninstalled update and ended up with grey screen of death. Spent whole day fixing the boot loop nightmare. Thanks Microsoft for forcing another bug ridden windows update.

Every prebuilt PC and laptops already has Win11 preinstalled for years but Win10 still dominated the marketshare until now. It happened sooner than expected, The scare tactics are working and then people will be stuck with a broken OS!.

See bolded text....

Acer has released its consolidated revenues for June 2025 and some data for the first half of the year. it suggests that businesses are buying hardware ready for the Windows 10 end of life.
