This is a good start. Correct bro @Mr. Fox? Let'em bleed 🙂 On top you can avoid have to throw your fully working older hardware paid by the taxpayers in the trash bin as Microsoft demand if you want their support forwards.

The union backtracked on moving to linux quite quickly.  They are now only dumping office for libre.  That will probably be backpedaled on as well.

It still goes in the right direction...

Windows loses 400 million users in just 3 years and at this rate it will no longer exist in a decade.

We may see a change once the EOL date have passed in Oct. And new pc's (prebuilt junk/Jokebooks and tablets) still flood the market. And I guess all of them have Windows 11 installed. Of course Win 11 will take over the marketshare.

The world runs on windows, Always will. No one will change to linux in governments, Large business etc as the scale is to huge to complete. Everyone will still use windows, people will bitch, but ultimately buy a new system or rufus it.  Governments and large business will buy new systems to comply and MS knows this.

I tried to switch to linux and found that I was missing so much that I just gave up on the idea.  I will never goto macOS so, windows it will be.

Jez does hit the nail on the head with this one.  It's the same nail I have been driving since 2015 when The dipshat CEO cancelled windows mobile/phone for effing business facebook.

From Video Descrption:
Don't install KB5060829 if you value your time. I lost taskbar and could not get it back. So I uninstalled update and ended up with grey screen of death. Spent whole day fixing the boot loop nightmare. Thanks Microsoft for forcing another bug ridden windows update.

Every prebuilt PC and laptops already has Win11 preinstalled for years but Win10 still dominated the marketshare until now. It happened sooner than expected, The scare tactics are working and then people will be stuck with a broken OS!.

Mostly because of WIndows 11's stupid TPM 2.0 requirements, gonna be a lot of e-waste because of it and businesses are not going to waste with the rufus method, Its gonna take years for most businesses to switch from 10 to 11 like it was when Win 7 went out of support, stability is very important for them

Microsoft will use all their dirty tricks they can find.

Windows 10 Will Stop Receiving New Office Features in 2026

After August 2026, Microsoft 365 Apps for personal accounts will only receive security updates until the end of support in August 2028.

After these dates, your Office apps will remain on version 2608 and only receive security updates until Oct. 10, 2028, Microsoft says.

This appears to be another attempt by Microsoft to encourage users to upgrade to Windows 11. The support page warns users about the performance and reliability issues that may arise when using Microsoft 365 on Windows 10 after the OS gets phased out in October this year.

It also warns users that if they face issues with Microsoft 365 apps after October, support offered by customer service will be limited. For example, if there's a Microsoft 365 issue specific to Windows 10, the customer support executives will ask you to upgrade to Windows 11.

Winduhz 11 is just a scummy piece of crap any way you slice it. The best way to run Windoze is in a Linux virtual machine because it is not a respectable solution any more. I am half way through week #2 of using exclusively Linux and only launching Windowz in a vm when it is absolutely necessary to perform a task that can only be performed using a Windoes-only application. But, I am still not using that ultra-filthy malware version of it. It feels better than it ever has to avoid Micro$lop garbage. Since I'm more or less no longer benching, I don't need it for that and benching was one of the excuses I used for continuing to use it. If things contue playing out this well I will have three NVMe SSDs in each desktop (6 in total) that I can erase and use for something other than a Weendoze digital cesspool.
