While it is very much a work in progress, I can state without a doubt we have saved that information. Now it comes down to trying to get into a format that can be more easily accessible. That portion will take time.

A lot of people have not found a new resource from NBR or simply refuse to re-register here, if it were possible to send information about the new resource to old participants, it would be great.

Alienware 17 : Intel Core i7 4900QM @ 4.0Ghz   | nVidia Quadro RTX 3000 6GB    | 32Gb DDR3 1600MHZ | x2 Samsung 860 Evo 500GB (Raid).

It's fairly difficult to read your posts in dark mode

As for contacting old members, that's difficult to do as we have no means to contact them.

I've seen similar issues with some other members' posts also. Could be an issue with the forums' themes I suppose, and not that some people intentionally change default text color to smth else every time?

may i ask, why would they refuse to register here? in the beginning right after NBR closure its understandable since a proper successor was still to be determined. but now its pretty safe to say that NBT is the true mental successor to NBR, albeit still in the growth phase 🙂 but good things take time, as we all know! and it definitely has the right spirit to take over from NBR if u ask me.

It's formatting from the user, if manually changed it retains that preference. Since light theme is used the member just sees black text but because it's a manual change when viewed from dark theme that static change remains in place.

Charles absolutely had to thread the needle with a corporate backer on top, there were many things outside of his control so while things look good and possibilities much more in our favor, it's only due to standing on the shoulders of giants.

While I don't think I was particularly controversial on NBR, my reputation may not jive with everyone, Hiew was technically not a big laptop guy and some of the eccentric types simply refuse to use the Invision software.

I think @Reciever & co. did a fantastic job with this, hopefully folks can spread the word whenever possible. Looks like the forum is increasingly popping up on google.

Thank you for the compliments, there is much to do and little to do it, I may have to take some time off since my car is totaled. It would probably do me some good to be constructive.

Ah, of course. Completely forgot about such feature, I think I used it last time like 10 years ago or something like that. Didn't think anyone would still use custom formatting for text on forums, heh.

Maybe it should just be disabled if the themes don't properly change the custom colors?

I can never understand why people don't pay attention when they drive. I'll just leave it at that.

It's on the table for consideration.
