Could someone please help me. I've installed the P5000 in my machine. Its all back together. But.... I cant for the life of me figure out how to mod the inf. I've read the guides and tried to follow them but I'm so confused 😞

Could some nice kind soul help me out?

Give that a try in the interim, has worked well for me on a couple of systems.

You forget to name your GPU when you selected "add hardware support" when running NVclean. Do the whole process again. Rebuilt the driver package again adding name to your GPU

PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1BB6&SUBSYS_05501028
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1BB6&CC_030000
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1BB6&CC_0300

Here is how I do it

DOING FOR THIS DRIVER (OPTIONAL)
537.70-quadro-rtx-desktop-notebook-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql

I like to extract with 7-zip

This FOLDER= 537.70-quadro-rtx-desktop-notebook-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql\Display.Driver
This file= nvdmwi.inf = open with notepad = then edit/find 1bb6

in each section add your hardware line

under this line
%NVIDIA_DEV.1BB6.07B1.1028% = Section143, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1BB6&SUBSYS_07B11028
add this line
%NVIDIA_DEV.1BB6.0550.1028% = Section143, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1BB6&SUBSYS_05501028

under this line
%NVIDIA_DEV.1BB6.07B1.1028% = Section144, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1BB6&SUBSYS_07B11028
add this line
%NVIDIA_DEV.1BB6.0550.1028% = Section144, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1BB6&SUBSYS_05501028

then find this line
NVIDIA_DEV.1BB6.07B1.1028 = "NVIDIA Quadro P5000"
and add this line
NVIDIA_DEV.1BB6.0550.1028 = "NVIDIA Quadro P5000"
hit save and close

return to main driver folder and and hit setup.exe to see if it will install. if nvidia installer is ok close and do shift/restart PC
trouble shoot start up settings and do driver signature enforcement Disable

Log in and do setup.exe again and allow when windows asks
