Alienware M18XR2 AMD gpu upgrades

Recommended Posts

From my experience with my custom built X79 Xeon 1680V2 and Rx 6800 XT definitely the older processors benefit greatly from AMD so is this possible on my Alienware m18xr2? I bought it years ago; 2014  from an member on the defunct Notebookreview.com

Personally of course if there higher end options I don't mind like an rtx 3090 lol thank you.

Wow man!

I'd not recommand Radeon for your alienware as the fan will not work unless you auto start hwinfo (or some other fan profile software).

But RTX 3060 for 285$?? The price is totally crazy 😀

This is the second time I have seen this site linked here recently, but I am suspicious.  There is no physical address listed and it is full of misspellings and grammatical errors.  That plus "prices that are a little bit too good" are typical scam site red flags.  Buyer beware...
