Reciever
Is it possible to extend the heatpipes to the secondary GPU heatsink to create more dissipation for the CPU? Always wondered why I hadnt seen anything like that so perhaps there are some obstructions? Or perhaps make it harder to service? 1 Telegram / TS3 / Twitter 2700X to 5800X3D upgrade! janepa
Hi Reciever, no it is not possible because there are not much of space in this area ,and it will be hard to service too as you said. StripeySnake
That does work in the m17x r2 however, it was a long time ago but I was able to use hwinfo to bind the second GPU fan to CPU temp and ran a 920xm at roughly 70-80 watts iirc with decent but higher temps. janepa
Hi StripeySnake, yes for me it was problem too what with fan . However this problem i was solved by reading rpm on gpu and cpu fans. No need hwinfo anymore. Each fan now can work separately.
