I tried the P270WM vbios by replacing the P150 one and it's still the same issue, not work... I'll just rebuy a HD 5870M since I found a X7200 VBIOS for it so no more "instant shutdown" situations? When using M2000M primary and RTX 5000 as secondary I get 60w TDP limit on RTX 5000. but in SG mode I can hit full 90W of card. still haven’t figured out where the issue is unfortunately Hello. Did you manage to fix it? I remember I did get the full TDP consumptions. Let me explain how. The master GPU had no drivers, no default Nvidia drivers, just Microsoft basic. It allowed my slave card to run at a max of 127W. I need drivers on my master GPU so I can run at 1080p 😕 Let me know what do you think about my experiment. SuperMG3
@ssj92Hello. I found something interesting. I installed a GTX 970M 6GB 80W card on the X7200. So I have GTX 485M + GTX 970M 6GB, same GeForce drivers. I managed to use 100% of the GPU TDP. 82.8W max on Heaven benchmark. 77W average. On 3dmark, I got 90W max! (2300 points on graphics) But on the P5200, I can only do max 77W... Meanwhile it's a 110W card. There's no power problems, because I did manage to get max 127W, 128W readings on the same slot.
SuperMG3
@ssj92Hello. Only maxwell cards are running at full speed on the second slot but not Pascal. My 970M ran at 85W max. P5200 ran at 77W max by using the same drivers
ssj92
Yeah something about TDP issues with newer cards, so doesn't matter which GPU you use. Only other way to test is either increase the tdp to like 150w and see if it works or decrease it to like 90w. And have a 150W VBIOS running? @ssj92
ssj92
Modified vBIOS gave me code 43 unfortunately so idk if I did it correctly Alienware Area-51 18 : Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX @ ??? | nVidia GeForce RTX 5090 | BE200 | 1TB Gen5 9100 PRO Alienware Area-51M : Intel Core i9-9900K @ 5.3Ghz | nVidia GeForce RTX 2080 | AX210 | Samsung 970 Evo+ Alienware M18x R2 : Intel Core i7 3920XM @ 4.7Ghz | nVidia GeForce RTX 3080 | AX210 | Samsung 980 PRO Alienware 18 : Intel Core i7 4930MX @ 4.5Ghz | nVidia Quadro RTX 5000 | AX210 | Samsung 980 NVMe More Laps: M14x | M14xR2 | M15x (980m) | M17xR2 (RTX 3000) | M17xR3 (WX 7100) | M18xR1 (RTX 5000) BEAST Server: Intel Xeon W7-3465X 28 P-Cores | 2x nVidia RTX Titan | 128GB RDIMM | Intel Optane P5800X CS Studios YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/CSStudiosYT

Did the software generate a correct md5 hash after saving the rom? There's a 160W vbios file on techpowerup for my P5200 but I'm scared to break the solder of the vbios chip.
