Hi,

Got problem when changed GPU from 970M to P3000. Every display connection when connected is recognized as DVI. No sound at all. Tried reinstall drivers after DDU, installing old Clevo drivers, update from old to newest. Nothing changed.

Tried custom Extended Display Identification Data but it's correct. Show possibility to receive audio for monitor or TV.

At Nvidia panel HDMI output is showed as DVI, no HDMI at all. Display Port showed correctly but when connected it's recognized as DVI.

No possibility to change sound output in Windows properties.

Tried few cables and monitors/TVs.

Another symptom is when starting system with connected monitor it's showing loading display. Till moment when loading drivers. I don't got anything at screen looks like not connected but when changed display to internal and next to external it start to work correctly or unplug and plug. I made simple script for it but it's not ok. In bios when changed VGA ROM to legacy it changed situation only a little don't showing loading screen at monitor (same like in older Clevos).

Before change everything works fine.

Patient Clevo P771DM-G P3000 Dell vBIOS, now Dsanke fully unlocked bios. At original bios same situation. Laptop use only dGPU.

Actually there are also these vbioses :

But you need a SPI 1.8V flasher to get the vbios on the card, using nvflash won't work.

These vbioses have different display tables and maybe audio output as well ? I know for a fact that eDP is routed to DP_C which is non standard, almost all MXM laptop (except zbook 15/17 g2 and g3) have eDP routed to DP_D of the MXM connector. Meaning if the bios flash is sucessfull you'll need to run the card in switchable graphics mode to get a display on the internal display.

Zbook 17 g3 : i7-6820HQ, GTX 1060 (Zotac zbox card), 8gb DDR4 (for now), FHD ips
