Amir.s Posted June 9 Posted June 9 By sharing your system specifications, we can work together to find the best possible configuration. I can also suggest stable tuning settings so you can get the maximum performance out of your system.
2CPU Posted June 19 Posted June 19 9900K (updated since rolled back to 1.3.2 BIOS and needed CPU without later e-fuses burned) 64 GB RAM at 2667mhz (don't try and code in 2666) 1.9.3 BIOS update since trying to fix AGA 5080 RTX "bad handshake" PCIe defaults. Still have to unplug/plug in Win10 to work. 1

The BIOS must be version 1.9.3 or earlier, otherwise the BIOS applies stricter timing restrictions. I’m using BIOS version 1.7.3. On newer BIOS versions, memory timing adjustments are much more limited, so you should use an older BIOS version to apply these timing changes.
2CPU Posted Tuesday at 11:44 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:44 PM I think my RAM sticks are maxed out at 2667.

Also, configure these three values as well: 0xA63 = 75 0xA64 = 0B 0xA65 = 01 If it’s stable, I’ll start lowering the timings afterward.
2CPU Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I tried 0xA65 = 01 before and my system failed to boot with blinking red alien head. (On BIOS 1.9.3 if that matters)

(On BIOS 1.9.3 if that matters) BIOS 1.9.3 becomes unstable at memory frequencies above 2666 MHz. You should downgrade to BIOS 1.7.3. If you do not enable 0xA65, you won’t be able to achieve higher frequencies because the timings selected automatically will not be appropriate. I tested this on BIOS 1.9.3 and it has limitations.
Amir.s Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago If 0xA65 is not set to 01, none of the timings shown in the picture will be applied. That’s why the system fails to boot.
