harkaz Posted August 18 Posted August 18 As of a few hours ago, it appears that the custom air RTX3080 heatsink for P775TM1 is no longer available - only the air/water version is now available: https://www.aliexpress.com/i/1005007688521117.html Well, it was overpriced anyway. I am waiting for a RTX3080 to arrive within the following days, so I am exploring alternative options. Are there any measurements-detailed instructions on how to modify the current 31-P77FN-401 heatsink (i.e. by drilling)? Any other options for heatsink mounting? How bad is it if I do not use any screws on the GPU side? If anyone knows of a modified 31-P77FN-401 heatsink that is compatible with RTX3080 and is available for sale within the EU please keep me informed.

SuperMG Posted yesterday at 03:07 PM Posted yesterday at 03:07 PM I found high quality max pro plus heatsink for RTX 4090 and 9900K/KS.

I prefer using the Clevo MXM. The RTX4090 is from XVision I assume. Are you referring to taobao seller? (I am unable to buy from there). 18 hours ago, Selim1905 said: I know someone who can do this.Bana Can you elaborate?
SOYOON Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Hey isnt you the guy who got a custom heatsink from this cicichen 594 on ebay?, is he trustworthy?
SuperMG Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago The RTX 4090 is way faster than the RTX 3080 165W. 4090 supports G-SYNC on my 1080p 120Hz IPS display. Supports 1 x DP output and 1 x HDMI output. Supports eDP with the backlight mod v2. The heatsink will be watercooled with more heatpipes (like on the AliExpress 2 in 1 heatsink but better) and it'll be compatible with RTX 40XX. And I'll of course get the powerful fan for the CPU side. Can handle 9900KS stock. Stock CPU heatsink I have is the small one, 3 heatpipes one, throttles at 155W.
Selim1905 Posted 35 minutes ago Posted 35 minutes ago I had that Chinese contact build a heatsink for the Alienware m18x and the P870TM. You can reach out to them via eBay messages. There is already an RTX 3080 heatsink available on Amazon for the P870TM; they manufactured five units based on my request. My order is currently on its way, and I will test it once it arrives.

SuperMG Posted 6 minutes ago Posted 6 minutes ago Contact Cicichen, best heatsinks for Dell Precision M6800 and M17X R4. No thermal throttles. All 2 in 1 = GTX 9XXM support and RTX 40XX support. He also made a P775 single GPU heatsink for standard MXM and RTX 40XX one. High quality heatpipes and pure copper plate... No thermal throttle, got max 20100 TimeSpy graphics score with an RTX 4090 MXM. He's making me a better heatsink than the AliExpress one for the P775 watercooling + RTX 40XX support! I paid a lot of money because I don't want thermal throttle on the CPU anymore. I want a full 5GHz all core performance. I'll also tell him to purchase me the P775 performance fans if he can find them locally.
