because MSI released a brand new Realtek audio driver on their main web site almost a few days ago

version 6.0.9718.1  
{new link to 6.0.9718.1 MSI driver posted on the Corsair web site, in which some Corsair brand PCs use MSI motherboards}

 

MSI has been releasing multiple Realtek Audio driver versions this August like 6.0.9709.1, 6.0.9718.1 and some older versions like 6.0.9661.1 and 6.0.9675.1.  surely MSI is picking up the pace with these audio driver releases.

Hi all, I want to ask when a new version of the Nahimic mod driver will be available. I still have an issue with the date on my Nahimic, and I'm waiting for a new version to resolve this.

since there is no definite timetable as to whether or not the creator of the modded Realtek Nahimic drivers will make new versions because of the OP's current work & study schedules (yup that person is very busy, atm), you'll probably be waiting a very long time before new versions come out.   I too also don't know as to when new versions of the OP's modded drivers will be released.

because MSI has released versions 6.0.9724.1 and 6.0.9735.1 this September 2024.
along with official MSI Nahimic APO4 4.11.6.0 driver w/ A-volute Extension 1.5.51.0 driver from the MSI web site released early September 2024.

Sorry that i haven't made a new driver package as of late. As correctly pointed out by @epguy3, due to Work commitments and study for said work commitments time is very very sparse.

From my understanding the mod as a whole will need a re-work due to additions stuff added in the INF. SO i am going to need to update everything.

So i might need a helping hand at some stage, however end of November my studies should be lesser so i might have a bit more time to look at stuff.

because that link to Realtek audio driver package that was once version 6.0.9718.1 was unexpectedly updated to version 6.0.9738.1 around the end of September 2024 (I too had a busy schedule at that time, so I wasn't around to make an announcement of it); same download link but NEW version

Hiya, I'm the owner of a GT83VR 7RF, and I installed the driver, which successfully got Nahmic working, but sadly, my headphones and Xtreme Audio DAC ports don't work. I hear the connection being made when it gets plugged in, but sadly, the device doesn't open up any dialogue. There isn't any option for my Xtreme Audio DAC output.

In Realtek audio, the symbol of the headphone jack lights up, saying it's recognized as a connection, but there isn't any option to change the device or make Realtek separate the connections.

My device used to work with Nahmic 3 a long time ago, but support was pulled as it suddenly didn't respond to anything. They never offered Nahmic 3 on MSI's website, only Nahmic 2, but it was listed as a supported device.

I'm not sure what was meant by turning Realtek off and on, as there wasn't a turn on and off button, so I tried restarting it by restarting the Windows audio endpoint and audio server, but it didn't change.

nahimic 3.x support was removed for your laptop model in newer audio driver & nahimic apo driver versions because it either didn't have "proper" support or the support was spotty/buggy/incomplete.

only solidus1983's existing modded Realtek/Nahimic DCH driver versions may provide them but they are not guaranteed to work for the GT83VR 7RF laptop.
