Nahimic 3 UAD Modified Driver for Unsupported MSI Hardware

hello, here trying to make my own custom nahimic drivers. i am on a MSI GT60 with ALC892, why i need APO3 and not APO4? where i can find the lastest realtek drivers with lastest nahimic APO3 driver? because always i get nahimic not working due to microsoft store automatic update

OK, FINALLY I MANAGED A MODIFICATION TO MAKE THIS MODDED DRIVER WORKING WITH THE LASTEST NAHIMIC VERSION! (AT LEAST ON APO3), SOON I AM SHARING MY OWN MODDED DRIVERS WITH @solidus1983 SAME INSTALLER!

with newer realtek codec drivers i get some bugs, after powering on the notebook from an S3 state (suspend), i dont have longer audio. now i am testing lastest nahimic UWP app with 2023 realtek driver from the lastest solidus mod and 2024 APO3 driver, the main difference due this mod packed 2023 APO3 dont work on lastest UWP app is because in device manager newer driver appears as different type of device, thats why newer UWP`versions of nahimic dont work with 2023 APO3 nahimic driver.

i can add an compatible APO4 driver with newer UWP app and keep older 2023 codec driver to maintain an stable version, due i am not 100% expert to make a fully update of this, but i dont think newer codec drivers makes a high difference really

as well, i added the latest UWP app into the installer, Nahimic 1.10.9.0 version from this 2026, i need to test this more further and soon i can upload this stable version to dont get problems due to windows update updating nahimic with the older driver.

and really, my msi GT60 2OC with ALC892 and a dedicated audio AMP on board sounds amazing with nahimic. originally this laptop uses soundblaster cinema and boosts audio quality similar to nahimic, but its more basic due its a 2013 software. this nahimic mod its a good enhance! I especially want to thank Solidus for doing this work, and I'll be uploading the fixed version soon.

older script dont delete newer APOs drivers fine, and when reinstalling cause failure on nahimic working. i am seeing some registry differences, because driver is correctly deleted (at left, older APO driver, on the right newer one)

FrancoTecno comment; due its a RAR file, i dont submit a VirusTotal test. you can manually inspect files and code from this or scan it with virus total, main source code is created by @solidus1983. i only modified it to make this working in 2026.

Supported Systems with this driver pack:

Same as latest Solidus release (See page 9 at latest solidus release)
 

Install instructions:

•  Disconnect from the internet. (Not Required, so very Optional)
•  Reboot System and Enter BIOS/UEFI.
•  Please DISABLE SECUREBOOT in your BIOS this is now important for this new installer!
•  Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software (Some Anti-Virus tools might false report and delete the file!).
•  Uncompress .ZIP file and Run "Launch.EXE"
•  Select either Full Install, Install Without Nahimic, Full Uninstall or Downgrade Nahimic 3.
•  Sit back and relax as the UWP's get uninstalled, the driver gets uninstalled and then your system is rebooted into test signing mode and everything is installed and your system is rebooted again!
•  Now head back into your BIOS/UEFI and Re-enable SecureBoot!!
•  Now let the system boot up fully and re-enable the internet connection. (Only if you disconnected from the internet)

***[IMPORTANT]****
As i no longer have a MSI Laptop with APO4. This hotfix and update was tested only in APO 3. I wait user results and testing. This hotfix release is mainly to fix APO3 buggy and outdated driver causing problems in newer Nahimic UWP app versions. I await user feedback and help to release more updated and better builder versions. this is a It's a hotfix released rather quickly without so much elaboration. Expect bugs for this release

I'm waiting to hear from users here who want to collaborate on releasing more updated and better-developed versions. I'm not a programmer, just an enthusiast. I'm doing this quick fix so you can continue enjoying the modification.

In case of another hotfix or minor update, I'll release it. I use my MSI GT60 with this software every day.
