NotebookTalk

May as well introduce myself

Recommended Posts

My name is Craig, and i live in the UK. I used to occasionally browse the notebookreview forums, but didn't really post much.

I found out notebookreview closed when clicking a bookmarked link. Thought it was a shame, but didn't think much of it. Until now. Decided to look to see what was happening, and saw notebooktalk mentioned in a reddit thread. And here I am.

Haven't used a notebook/laptop for a few years, after the HDD died in the HP laptop I was previously using. Been using a desktop ever since (firstly, a refurbished Lenovo M92P, and now a refurbished Dell Optiplex 7010).

Current spec is as follows:

Intel Core I7-3770 @ 3.40Ghz

32GB DDR3 Memory

2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD

1TB Crucial MX500 SSD

Nvidia Geforce GT1030 2GB GPU

Dual Booting Windows 10 Pro (on HDD), and Ubuntu 22.04 (on SSD)

Razer Basilisk Ultimate Mouse

Razer Backwidow V3 keyboard (green switches) with Razer Phantom Keycaps

Razer Nommo Chroma Speakers

Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headphones

Synology DS120J NAS with seagate Ironwolf 2TB HDD

I also have a Microsoft Surface Go 2 Tablet, that's running Windows 10 Professional
