srs2236
Hello everyone! Ever since I bought my Clevo 1 year ago I immediately noticed how the Blue lights for whatever reason is much much more dim than Red and Green. Anyone seen something like this? Maybe somebody knows which way I should look for a fix... It's to the point where I would call it non existent. Even in night you can ever so slightly see it. And of course I am now limited in colors because a lot of them don't mix properly anymore in the absence of Blue. Not sure where to start looking for the problem. Also it is not a keyboard issue as I already once had to go through keyboard replacement and as a matter of fact broke the 2nd one aswell... -_- Something with the D key might be wrong with the keyboard batches because while just playing Rocket League most of the time I somehow managed to break D key on both of them in the exact same way, it would slowly start no not register my presses until dying out completely.. Anyways, went off topic a bit. jaybee83
hey man, thats actually a known issue. may i know how old the machine is? problem is that the blue LEDs get weaker and weaker with time as opposed to the red and green ones. unfortunately there is no fix aside from a brand new replacement keyboard 😅 Mine: Hyperion "Titan God of Heat, Heavenly Light, Power" (2022-24) AMD Ryzen 9 7950X (TG High Perf. I had to wait a long time to finally hunt down a keyboard for a reasonable price. They are literally unavailable unless you buy from aliexpress for a hefty 100GBP price. I was able to hunt down a spares/repairs listing for P751 and even though it was not for parts I wrote a message offering 75 for the keyboard alone and he accepted. Anyways, you were right about the LED wear overtime. I got lucky on this one and for the first time I finally see the full spectrum of colors from my keyboard! 😃 Now just have to stop playing Rocket League on my main keyboard because I am scared of them failing now. This is my 3rd keyboard for my P775 over 1year of usage... =D yikes And oddly enough both of them failed in exact same fashion. D key stopped registering strokes slowly until completely dying out for one and the other just sometimes worked but most of the time didn't. I think it has something to do with a lot of key strokes during Rocket League =D Also funny how I upgrade this machine and try to push it to the limits and end up spending most of my time playing Rocket League xD 1 Clevo P775TM1-G: Spoiler GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop 16GB (150W, +110MHz Core, +350MHz Mem) CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900KS (5GHz, 4GHz Cache, -130mV, 255A, 200W PL1/2) RAM: DDR4 32 GB (3333MHz, 14-17-17-32, 2x16, Micron rev.E, 1.45v) Storage 1: Kingston KC3000 2TB RAID0 (2x1TB, NVME, PCI-E 3.0) Storage 2: Seagate LM015 2TB (2.5, HDD, SATA3) Storage 3: Integral UltimaPro 512GB (SDXC, 100r/50w, PCI-E) Display: AU Optronics B173ZAN0.10 (4K, 60Hz) Wi-Fi/BT: Killer(R) Wireless-AC 1550 (9260NGW, PCI-E) Operating system: Windows 11 Pro x64 (23H2)

zex4
As far I know from the old notebookreview forum it's because of the heat from chipset but I don't rly think that's the problem 🤔

And I know because mine can get hot by the touch under heavy load. but it is weird that the D button fails first. For my first two keyboard the only button that failed was the D button. Very interesting to see someone else have the same issue. I thought it was just coincidence.
