Precision 7510/7520 Owners Thread

In my experience, the laptop's internal screen does not support V-sync, but V-sync should work via DP or HDMI connection to an external screen.

Vsync doesn't require specific support from the panel to operate. (An adaptive refresh rate functionality like Gsync or Freesync does, though.)

Great!Thank you guys very much for answers. So i maybe would buy p2000,it's price is lower than t1000's.I did work with p2000 on precision 7530,it's perfomance was enough for me,but 7530's cpu is hot,7510 has nice temperatures. And something else - do you feel some delay (input lag) with switchable graphics in games?

I have done quite a bit of gaming with Optimus (switchable graphics) turned on and I have never noticed any issue with latency. In any case, you should be able to try it with your current card and see how it feels for you.

Thanks again. So this is a reason for thinking about t1000 or 1650.Have one more question - can you explain me why xeon e3-1535m (has 4 cores/8 threads with 2.9-3.8hz) works with normal temperatures (i saw 70-71 C maximum),but i5-9400h on same process size 14nm and socket, has also 4 cores/8 threads with a similar perfomance, but works hot and a temperature jumps every second, from normal to peak with difference 15-20 degrees.Xeon's temps increase smoothly, without any jump. Both notebooks are clean, with new thermal interface.

Not sure if anyone got this, but after disassembly (and reassembly) the touchpad and the point stick stopped working, the keyboard was fine. They connect with the same ribbon cable, so it most likely wasn’t it. What turned out to be was this setting in the BIOS. After hitting “Apply” everything was fine.
