Night light off after screen wakes from sleep

I still get this after the last post on this thread in May 21, did they ever fix this for win10? I prefer nightlight on all the time easier on the eyes, warmer etc Have it set to turn off for 15 mins around 3am and back on since there's no way to always have it on. win10home 2004 19041.388. Have had update turned off for almost the couple years I've had this.

If you turn off the schedule and just turn night light on manually from the control center, will it stay on?

I used to do that before I decided I wanted it on all the time, the same problem though. It doesn't always go off when waking up the laptop just sometimes and man it's like blue light special really bad. Says it's on and at max and it's obviously not on at all too, just thought maybe someone knew of some tweak fix for this not a huge deal but enough to research it and post asking about it here, eh.
