But be careful. Sometimes the DSanke flash doesn’t work and you have to flash with a programmer directly to your Bios Chip.

Unfortunately that was not the solution. To search for the fault is not easy and maybe is very expensive. I‘m searching for a new P775TM/dm board.
-
Short update: one of EC-Chips is bricked. A new one is ordered. Hopefully it will work after the change.
-
Ok, I will let you know if it is successful or not.
-
I have a technician who can flash the firmware on the chip and has the needed devices to solder a new chip. so he can take the EC Version from the XMG site?
-
The Clevo stock Bios had I also tried. The right programmer and the needed tools to reflash the Main EC is a pain in the ass and expansive. But there is another option. It is possible to get a preflashed IT8587 chip via eBay. So do I only need the U44 chip?
-
Can’t remember that. Does anybody know how to flash via these Clevo connector(J_Flash1…)?
-
So I reflashed both. Nothing changed. So how to reflash the first EC? On eBay this type of programmer is very expensive And a friend of mine said maybe it’s also the Intel management engine. So a clean Bios reflash is required?
-
I flashed the 2nd EC but nothing changed. So I also tried several EC versions and also the original dump. Nothing changed. So now the first EC has to be reflashed?
-
Ok thanks. So first I will give it a try with the second EC.
-
I flashed the 1.07.16 to the U15. So that was not right? And what is padding? Don‘t understand that word.
-
I can erase, flash and read the U15 without adding 0xFF … so I think the first EC has to be reflashed. Do you know which is the correct EC Version for that?
-
I flashed already the second EC. Before I did that the laptop starts like I said in the first post. Now after I flashed the second EC it turns on and immediately off on battery. With A/C adapter plugged in it turns on and the gpu fan starts after 1 second with 100%. But the gpu stays cold.
-
So which is the U15 EC chip? First or second? Because this is the chip I flashed. i think it’s the second? I flashed there 1.07.16
-
I did that all. But I will try the .27 Bios. The new symptoms started with the new EC Flash. So what’s better? First to flash EC or Bios? And which EC Version is recommend?
-
Before I flashed the Bios and EC. It’s getting warm. But now I will check it again.
-
Now I flashed also another EC Version. Now on battery it starts for 2-3 Seconds and turns off. On A/C Adapter it turns on without pushing the power button and the fans are spinning with 100%. weird thing

Latest XMG Ultra 17 Bios doesn‘t work. Nothing changed. Where is the EC Chip? Can’t find in the schematic.
-
3 Dumps? There are only Bios and EC.
-
Yes of course
-
Yes, I will download later the schematic.
-
Ok then it’s easier for me to flash via programmer
-
So after start holding FN+D and the Bios on a fat32 Stick?
-
So CPU, RAM and gpu are working fine. And it was no upgrade or something else. It came from alone. next step is for me to try a Bios reflash.
-
Bios reset have I done yesterday. GPU is working fine in another Laptop. So it could be the fans? Or something that recognizes the GPU and now is not working?
