    I read on reddit that it would be possible with this screen. But you lost G-Sync if that is no factor for you. Also you have to mod the screen cable a little bit. BTW: Do you have the R1 or R2?

    Hi, I bought a R1 with 3-2-1 beep code and black screen. I flashed a dump from my working R1 and now the Alien is working again. But the Bios now is locked and I don’t have an admin password. How to solve this problem?

    I can confirm what maxware said. Mostly it’s the gpu itself when you have this issue. But you can give it another try.

    It’s not that easy as I thought. Half of the screws doesn’t fit. First of all I need the sub assy to hold the Mainboard. Also the ribbon cables from the touchpad and the keyboard are in the wrong position. The chassis itself is possible with a little bit modification.

    I bought an R2 Board very cheap. I will give it a try and give you a reply if it works or not.

    Yes, you have to use your Dremel. Look at the picture. I have marked the area where you have to grind something from the Heatsink. But like jaybee said post more pics from the two cards and the Heatsink.

    You need a modified Bios, otherwise the 680m will never work. Maybe Prema had done this in the past.

    Sometimes you have to do the cmos reset 2 or 3 times before you get a picture. Happens to me with my p750tm in the past with latest Bios and upgrade from 8700k.
