    THANKS a lot. You were the only hope because they've been ignoring me and Maro for months... We can flash the VBIOS finally!! They both have the same GPUID so it'll work hopefully.

    M6700, eDP (to LVDS, RGB-MD). P3000 boots to bios but not to Windows (stock VBIOS) P5200 worked in LVDS, now doesn't work in eDP?? (Got broken??, modified VBIOS for M6800 laptop) RTX 3000 works and boots to Windows (HP original VBIOS). I'll test the RTX 4080 and see if it boots, I need to test it fast because not adapted heatsink. Edit: RTX 4080 X-VSION. Works only in HDMI out. Boots to Windows. Didn't work in eDP, despite having the backlight mod cable. Boots to HDMI out with backlight mod cable and by unplugging the eDP LCD cable. What is wrong then?? The backlight cable mod works in Clevo P570WM3 and Dell precision 7720

    BUMP. Price 600€ without any GPUs so you can upgrade to your own Quadro RTX 4000, 5000 or GeForce RTX 3060, 3070. Someone wanted it for 600€ without a GPU but he isn't answering since 5 days. I, of course will include all of the heatsinks for this laptop that I own. I'm selling in Leboncoin because less fees than ebay.

    Best GPU for this laptop is a 4070 in PEG. RTX 4070 MXM type-A. I already made a thread about having issues in upgrading to an RTX 4070, turns out I didn't do a good heatsink mod. Now everything works. 4070 in eDP PEG.

    Hello. Never and it works in SG with my M6700 using a HP ZBOOK G5 P5200 VBIOS. Also, someone got interested in the M18X R2 with i7 3840qm and no GPU because he'll upgrade to an RTX 3060 MXM

    Not yet. But yes the heatsink needs to be modified. RTX 4070, 4080, 4090 worked on the P775TM. For 4080/4090, ZRT/Enbik are prefered brands because of their VBIOS (DP/DP/HDMI/eDP, enabled eDP and not disabled eDP, otherwise blackscreen after drivers installation)

    Thanks. Yes every of my MXM cards are DP_D, it's the standard to have eDP for DP_D (except for HP ZBook G1/G2?) So I need the 06VCJW cable then? For any eDP screens (1080p to 4K)?

    Hello, is the eDP cable for the M6700 is the 0YXDPN 30pin? What screen do you recommend? I have Quadro P5200 with VBIOS chip that will get removed from the Alienware M18X R2 I'm selling. I could test the RTX 3000 or RTX 4070 MXM but it's already installed as PEG eDP in my Precision 7720.

    Hello, the same happened with X-VSION. They found a way to counter it. Ask them how to avoid that, maybe by sanding the GPU die or by removing the serial number label. Or by changing shipping company and sending it from Hong Kong (instead of China) to Japan?

    Did you uninstall the previous Wi-Fi drivers? Any wi-fi drivers should be uninstalled. Then install the newest drivers, it'll work with Windows hopefully but still won't work with the Clevo software. You say it's detected but is there any errors? Like error 43?

    Because it's not compatible with the Clevo software. Maybe it has a whitelist on the software? Or just simply not compatible. I never tried to upgrade the Wi-Fi because my own ISP is like 250MBit/s Also you can upgrade to an RTX 4080/4090 if you want, I have the cables and the heatsink.

    Hello. Since I am only collecting Dell Precision laptops (M6300, M6400, M6700, 7720, 7780). I would like to sell this Alienware M18X R2 laptop that I don't use anymore. I already have a Clevo P570WM3 eDP version which is the same generation as this one. Specs: CPU: I7 3840QM or i7 3940XM RAM: 32GB DDR3 1866MHz Storage: No SSD + 1TB HDD Screen: LVDS 1080p 60Hz Body: Magnesium and plastic GPU: Quadro P3000 6GB MXM or P5200M 16GB? (Could be upgraded to an Quadro RTX 5000 or RTX 3070 MXM, I don't recommend anything above because of Intel HD bottlenecking and limiting frame rates). Motherboard and keyboard are refurbished, bought them very recently. Cleaned the inside of the fans and heatsinks. SLI 100W heatsinks and SLI cables are included. Everything works. RGB works. Battery works with 28% wear and tear level. No AC included. Recommended AC 240W or 330W for 150W GPUs Good state, no sticky palmrest. The feet of the bottom panel are coming off due to aging... Shipping to EU thru UPS or Colissimo and worldwide thru FEDEX Price: ??? Tell me but never below 500€ If someone has a M6800 eDP that works with HP RTX cards, I'm interested.

    The heatsink mounting are so crappy... Why do they do this? None of our heatsinks would be compatible, even by modifying the offset. It's so spacced out...

    No. It's not. It's X-VSION design and he already uploaded the VBIOS on techpowerup. It's the same identical VBIOS as the X-VSION one. Morefine are using X-VSION cards and not ZRT now.

    Thanks. If they don't give the VBIOS. Ask them you need it for backup reasons, to unbrick a MXM card. You can tell them, you'll pay them 50€ for one VBIOS. If they don't want to give then you have to buy the MXM from them.

    Hello. Enbik and ZRT (zrt-tech) are selling RTX 4080 and 4090 MXM GPUs but you need to get the 135W variants and modify your heatsink because of the center offset core. You can lower the TDP even further by modifying the power resistors so you could get like a 115W GPU. You have to contact them in order to purchase one.

    If the IC or a VRM chip is burnt, it won't work anymore. The IC is important because it can manage the VRAM chips or manage the sensor data too. VRM is important because of power delivery and stability. Also you're our only hope to obtain a 4080 or 4090 from ZRT.

    No never. They aren't from ZRT. Two members confirmed it. They are from X-VSION with the same bad VBIOS. I told you, you can buy ZRT and then return the MXM card back to them so you can get a refund. Thanks.

    Hello. Let me write it again. You don't have to keep the ZRT GPU. You buy it, extract the VBIOS and return it. It's simple as that. You just tell them the GPU doesn't work in the system, like your system doesn't boot and they'll accept the return. I do not recommend X-VSION at all anymore. They have a bad customer service because they don't help people fix the drivers/VBIOS issues and are joking about your frustration. Only ZRT seems to have good quality cards (drivers and VBIOS). If I could flash ZRT VBIOS on 4080 or 4090 in X-VSION cards (which won't happen because no one cares and ZRT doesn't want to sell me anything anyway), it'll be a big win and a major fix for these high-tier cards. If you can't get the 4090, then get the ZRT 4080... Returning it, it will refund all the amount you spent on. Thanks...

    It's easy actually. Either from nvflashk software or either from CH341A SOP8 flasher, it's just a 2MB rom file to flash!

    Yes you could. You need to buy the GPU then insert the GPU in the laptop on the second slot as slave, install the same drivers as your master. Then use GPU-Z and extract the VBIOS to online. Give us the download link. Would be great if you could also show some screenshots of GPU-Z (specs, TDP, vbios version number) VBIOS should work because it uses the same GPU ID and memory configuration as X-VSION. Once I confirm everything works, you can return the card and get a refund then buy X-VSION Only by purchasing MXM GPU you can obtain their VBIOS sadly...

    Hello. Get ZRT because of the good VBIOS and yes it's indeed between 1400 to 1600€ for one. X-VSION is like 1200€ after taxes The one you saw for dirt cheap is probably a fake listing!!
