Hello, what about ZRT? Did you read what I typed hours ago?
-
It's easy actually. Either from nvflashk software or either from CH341A SOP8 flasher, it's just a 2MB rom file to flash!
-
Yes you could. You need to buy the GPU then insert the GPU in the laptop on the second slot as slave, install the same drivers as your master. Then use GPU-Z and extract the VBIOS to online. Give us the download link. Would be great if you could also show some screenshots of GPU-Z (specs, TDP, vbios version number) VBIOS should work because it uses the same GPU ID and memory configuration as X-VSION. Once I confirm everything works, you can return the card and get a refund then buy X-VSION Only by purchasing MXM GPU you can obtain their VBIOS sadly...
-
Hello. Get ZRT because of the good VBIOS and yes it's indeed between 1400 to 1600€ for one. X-VSION is like 1200€ after taxes The one you saw for dirt cheap is probably a fake listing!!
-
As I said before and on eBay's message, you need to contact them for purchase. Please check eBay's DM for their contact info
-
Hello. Same they didn't reply to me. And so ZRT, so nothing new on my end. You said ZRT replied to you? Can't you buy one card? It's possible to buy one, their buying process is like XVSION, it's either PayPal or bank transfer. I don't recommend X-VSION 4080/4090 due to the VBIOS as the display tables aren't good and eDP is set to disabled.
-
Hello, thanks for the update. They don't want to sell one as a sample to buy? And, Did Enbik reply to you?
-
Peladn they have nothing in stock anyway. The RTX 4050 to 4070 are using the same VBIOS as ZRT and X-VSION which are working great for DP/DP/HDMI/eDP(enabled)! Only ZRT and Enbik have good working 4080 and 4090 with DP/DP/HDMI/eDP(enabled) X-VSION has DP/HDMI/HDMI/eDP(disabled) for their 4080 and 4090. Yes the heatsink was made for RTX 3060/3060/3080/A4500/4080/4090 MXM cards with offset center cores
-
You can use X-VSION 4090 but with EDID OVERRIDE. You'll lose 2/3 of the external output because of the VBIOS display tables. Which is very annoying. ZRT have better display tables and working eDP. Purchase the good 4090. Please message ZRT by contacting leidongting from ZRT thru email or thru Blibli. You can also get the Enbik one too (same as ZRT). If you could do that, can you extract the VBIOS? Thanks.
-
I don't think. Did the previous Ada Lovelace models have MXM cards? Also, I have 2 new HEATSINKS + (one 8mm copper plate included) in stock for the P570WM! Compatible with RTX 3060, 3070, 3080, A4500, 4080 and 4090! DM me to buy 200€ PayPal family friends or 230€ on eBay!

Finally the new RTX MXM cards will work in our laptops!
SuperMG replied to SuperMG's topic in Components & Upgrades
You need to obtain the datasheet of this card. If pin 23, 25 and 27 are disabled, you need the flex FPC cable mod. Make really sure eDP/DP is on DP_D. RTX 4070 MXM is better and works on 7720. -
Need help for editing or getting VBIOS for 4080M and 4090M MXM
SuperMG replied to SuperMG's topic in Components & Upgrades
Hello some news. Someone called Moonshine got in contact with ZRT finally thru Blibli. ZRT said they can't "sell or give VBIOS files", they only do "Graphics cards" sale. So the only way is to buy their card and extract the VBIOS. If someone has the ZRT 4080 or 4090 MXM, please upload your VBIOS on techpowerup using GPU-Z. News about X-VSION, the representative isn't helping and now is making joke about "K***ing h*mself" because they don't want to update the VBIOS to support DP/DP/HDMI/eDP(enabled)... The reason is... "I'll lose warranty and it's not compatible with my eDP laptop". Makes no sense whatsoever. They aren't professional when there's a major problem on their 4080 and 4090 VBIOS. Blackscreen after installing the drivers and you need to do EDID manipulation for it... Still the X-VSION person didn't answer me why they didn't keep the same display tables as the 4050/4060/4070 from them? But ZRT did... Also one another Manufacturer is selling RTX MXM cards with "eDP VBIOS", did somebody bought from them or is in contact with them? https://enbik.com/products/enbik-mxm-gpu-module-nvidia-rtx4090-16gb-130w/ That's it for today... -

The problem isn't that. It's the x-bracket position for the screws. How will you screw in your 4090? There's like 0.6cm and 1cm (by memory) of offset in X and Y axis. It's very easy to add 1mm thick copper plate with some 1-2mm very adhesive thermal pads. -

Yes it'll work but you'll lose performance. 4070 works on my Dell Precision 7720 in both SG and eDP mode with the flex FPC cable. -

Then wait, and hope they release a full DP/DP/DP/eDP VBIOS. Maybe tell them to use that configuration? The GPU itself is compatible but the heatsink isn't. Heatsink is the biggest problem. -

This card looks cursed, HDMI on DP_A and DP_B... I don't think there will be any VBIOS at this point... No DP or eDP on C... Aetina has some cards that can do DP on all ports, like the Ada 2000? X-VSION told me I need to pay them 10k for a "new project"? They thought I need a new design, a new PCB? I just need an updated 2MB firmware file for the 4090... -

Enough pressure for the GPU and enough pressure for the CPU because you have a shared heatsink between CPU and GPU, that's why this laptop is complicated in terms of modding the heatsink. -

No. There are 2 listings. One for EUROPE and one for Worldwide. Pick the European one (cheapest for you) There are no videos, there are no information about modding heatsinks. No 3d files, nothing. It's on your own, like I did with the Clevo P570WM heatsink. -

The power cable is for GPU that can do 250W I think. On the datasheet of the X170, it says 20V and 10A for the MXM slot, which is 200W. Yes the 4090 I limited it because of the OEM heatsink I had, now I don't need to limit it because of the custom heatsink. Modifying heatsinks by hand, it's hard because your heatsink is adapted for non-standard MXM format Clevo cards. It's on eBay the listing. Search: MXM flex cable backlight mod for eDP -

SuperMG replied to SuperMG's topic in Components & Upgrades
It's on eBay the listing. I will never test them because it's expensive and the x-bracket mounting for the heatsink doesn't make sense for MXM-B.... But yes, they need the backlight mod because AETINA, XVSION and ZRT will never make the pin 23, 25 and 27 enabled again. Also, for the X170, you need to modify your heatsink because of the x-bracket offset. I modified the chassis of my P775TM so I can make the RTX 4080 fit in without trimming too much the main heatsink. And yes my laptop could pull 155W easily from the MXM slot. The Clevo ones can do max 200W on the MXM slot. Please try to purchase a card from ZRT like the RTX 4080M or the RTX 4090M, once you get them, it'll be good to obtain their VBIOS as well because... only the X-VSION 4080 and 4090 have bad a VBIOS for the display tables. If I can flash ZRT VBIOS on the X-VSION cards, then they're fixed for the display tables. -

The cable is finished. It's done. Nothing to complete. The only thing I found weird is the RTX 4080 and 4090 MXM from X-VSION. The VBIOS is kinda wacky, the eDP is disabled in the VBIOS but works once you apply override EDID data to windows. You need to get the ZRT version of these cards actually. Meanwhile RTX 4050, 4060, 4070 from X-VSION are working great, the eDP is enabled in the VBIOS. -

You have the flex cable? How did you get the cable? Yes I got the P775TM1G and P870TM to work with RTX 4080 MXM with backlight mod, with stock bios and Dsanke bios. -

You still need backlight mod on the GPU-end or on the screen's LCD cable-end because these GPUs don't support backlighting. -

I didn't try that but I think yes, but your eDP screen will become useless... So it's not technically a laptop now 😕 -
Need help for editing or getting VBIOS for 4080M and 4090M MXM
SuperMG replied to SuperMG's topic in Components & Upgrades
I don't understand why X-VSION don't help their customers, do they want a bad review? How do they get the VBIOS if it's not them? Are they magically appearing? There should be a company or someone who makes VBIOSes... Nvidia support say that they don't know who makes VBIOSes... I proposed to X-VSION and Nvidia some good amount of money for a vBios edit but no... The 4080 and 4090 have a major problem and they should fix it, not us. About ZRT, still no reply as usual, I use new email addresses just to buy from them but they don't answer (1 month ago, 3 weeks ago, 2 weeks ago). I don't give up now, I'll beg more and more just to buy a GPU from ZRT and extract the VBIOS, test the card and then send them back the card. If someone got in contact with ZRT successfully, please buy the 4080 or 4090 and extract the VBIOS. I can pay 100% of the shipping return fees so you won't lose money. I don't know if that's a good alternative idea to obtain the VBIOS.
