  1. The link is on the V2 thread I made. You can buy multiple for multiple clevo laptops.
  2. Well first of all you need the backlight mod v2 cable. Secondly Cicichen sells them on ebay for 165USD and your upgrades are complete!
  3. I got an RTX 4080 MXM to work on this laptop with the backlight mod v2 and a custom heatsink from Cicichen. The temps were excellent and performance too. The 4080 is a big improvement over the 2080 in terms of performance but this MXM GPU costs like 800€ alone. You can get the RTX 4070 for cheaper, for 500€. They are brand new cards with 1 year of warranty from X-VSION and ZRT. The max CPU you can get is the I9 9900K/KF CPU or the Xeon E-2286M (modded CPU). The Xeon is the cheapest option. The I9 9900K/KF are like between 150-200€. Meanwhile the Xeon one is below 100€.
  4. Hello. I got the RTX 4080 and 4070 to work in the M6700 in eDP without iGPU. In UEFI with legacy OPROM disabled. DP and HDMI out are working, it depends in the VBIOS DCB Yes embedded MXM RTX cards display in eDP with my backlight mod v2 cable. It also fixes the issue with the ADLINK, PNY and Aetina Turing cards, where these card don't display anything on the eDP display.
  5. PDF instructions updated for v2! Complete tutorial: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12J9CSd7BccNmFtcskdBwuiTa_AJhyyZG/view?usp=drivesdk
  6. If you can buy the fan (CPU or GPU?) + heatsink screen assembly + the bottom case today, sure why not. I also have the RTX 3000 MXM, could do it for 130€ alone. Buyer wants to pay 430€ in the next week for the whole R4 I was about to strip. Let me know
  7. You can search on ebay and message me. Just type Alienware M17X R4 FHD 120Hz screen. Edit: someone is interested into buying the whole laptop
  8. It won't work because of the X-bracket offset. You need to contact Cicichen on ebay for that. Or you can buy the AliExpress one and drill holes to match the X-bracket offset, if it's possible. The backlight mod v2 is needed for all Clevo laptops using MXM and eDP screens. So P870 series, P775 series and P750 series. You can buy 2 for 2 MXM cards/laptops. Compatible with Ampere, Ada Lovelace and Blackwell GPUs from ZRT, ENBIK, AETINA, X-VSION, etc
  9. It's on ebay, I have the whole red nebula set, a working keyboard, a R4 GPU 100W heatsink. Ok for UK, it can be a bit expensive because it's outside of the Schengen. Yes I think you can swap for yours LED. I never tried that. I got the whole laptop used and complete. All the parts are working.
  10. Hello. Here are more pictures and testing with the backlight mod v2! PWM brightness control works. System tested: ALIENWARE M17X R4 UEFI 120Hz Heaven benchmark 4.0 1080p: 236FPS Furmark 1.37 1080p: 146FPS TimeSpy: 11365 graphics points
  11. I have them. Correct screen 50 pins and correct cables for webcam and eDP. No 3D emitter for it. 3D functionality doesn't work for Maxwell and above.
  12. Yes. Source is max 1080p 60Hz. The cables I used, work with The HDMI in of a previous M18X R2 with Windows 10 I had.
  13. @DylSkiI sell that if you want. It's the whole assembly + it's red nebula, doesn't have the 3D emitter though. Today I came back and I stripped apart a m17x R4 I had because no one wants to buy it. The assembly is compatible with R3 because it's the LGD02C5 screen.
  14. Yes it says that but no signal just a backlight on.
  15. Tried with RTX 3080 and K3000M. I use windows 11
  16. I tried with 3 different ones. Maybe it's my GPU? But that shouldn't be the problem?
  17. Same results but the software on the 4h54n is different though. Maybe I need the xwh200 HDMI receiver to really test but it's expensive. For the HDMI in, it doesn't work for 120Hz eDP systems? I need iGPU? I get HDMI IN ON OSD but it doesn't display a video out.
  18. The SIMG SB92XX one from Dell.com. It redirect me to the Alienware 2013 laptops download link. The software is WiHD but it states "Not detected". Not sure if I use the software correctly. It's a niche tech that no one used.
  19. Yes leaked VBIOSes or VBIOSes straight from TPU or official generic VBIOSes from Nvidia. These companies need to respect the new Nvidia specs and design too. So this is weird.
  20. I just contacted them thru their sales email. I don't know if it's possible to chain as they use avast email protection, don't want to get the mail flagged as spam. X-Vsion's Blackwell X-bracket layout would be the same as the Ada and Ampere ones. I hope they didn't lie there. We'll see in the future. Well backlight mod is needed for other laptops! A must if you want to use your new RTX cards in dGPU. I'm happy to change my M17X R4 3080, M4800 4070 and M6800 4080 brightness lol, looks clean.
  21. There's the 5XHG5 for M18X R1 and M17X R3 There's the 3W4MD for "M14X", "M17X" and 18 R1, 17 R1. The 60GHz antenna + cable part is: KVR0Y Receiver is: VIZIO XWH200 HDMI Couldn't find anything about the "M17X R4" card one. Yes the SIMG SB92XX is the card. It's detected but the software for it, doesn't detect anything.
  22. My Backlight mod v2 works on Alienware m17x R4 and also the 17 R1 120Hz. I hope they sent me a 5080/5090 for testing like they do with YouTubers. So I can get the VBIOS and upload it thru TPU or thru Google drive I bought like +10 cards from them, of course they can trust me. I'm waiting for their response, they didn't reply to me today when I asked them for a sample.
  23. Did you try to overclock the RTX 3080? Like +50MHz on the core and +100MHz on the memory By the way I got the WirelessHD SiBeam M17X R4/M18X R1 DMC card. DMC is enabled in the SBIOS but it's not detected on Windows and not detected in the SiBeam software. Is the SiBeam card called SIMG SB92xx COM3 on device manager? If so then the card is definitely detected but not in the software... I have both sibeam card 3W4MD and SiBeam 60GHz antenna. Do you have any experience on this?
  24. No backlight support from them, they won't do it. It's prohibited like making a new VBIOS. Only my backlight mod can bring the backlight + PWM brightness control back. The DP/DP/HDMI/eDP is on the vbios of the Blackwell cards. I told X-VSION if I could get one for testing later. ETA is unknown. 4g decode could be a problem on other laptops such as Dell precision and some clevo laptops. As we know X-VSION and ZRT don't have 4G decode needed to work. Only the newest Aetina, PCP cards need them. These cards are very expensive so I don't think people will buy that for their laptop.
  25. It's not even available yet. Unknown ETA and it'll be more expensive than the A5500 for sure
