It may be a little late of an answer, but I looked into this specifically and did it to a small degree of success, but I needed to cut my bottom case to fit the heatsink. I have pictures, but it is on my other laptop so I need to find it and post it up once I do get it. So yes it can be done, but the fins on the heatsink are larger and will stick out the rear some. I doubt that they can cool to the same degree, the actual fins on the end that the fan blows through has a decent amount more surface area for the fans to cool. I am 99% sure the heatsinks on the P775TM dissipate heat better than the P750 does - even if technically they are rated to hold the same watt hardware. At least that was my experience.

That is what I am looking at for my P750DM2 for lower power draw but still the cores/threads. I am just wondering if it will work with the dsanke bios or if it needs something specific.

Even if the panel supports higher refresh are we limited to 144? Do you mind if I ask where these adapters are available? Do you have a link or something I can look into? THIS I find SUPER interesting! You are right! A full desktop 4070 would be amazing! I think if it allowed future X060 or X070 series GPUs to be installed that would be a huge win. It doesn't matter if it is 4080 or 4090, those more middle tier gpus would be good enough! I am very curious how this will work out. Just because of this I will keep my P870DM3 just to see what will be possible. I think with the amazing work @Developer79 is putting in. I will probably put the 3070 into the P750DM2, turn it into a regular work/gaming laptop and have the P870DM3 as a longer term build to see what comes up. Thanks!

Hey guys, Just wanted to say jump in and say thanks for putting this together, I had been on NBR since 2006 and was surprised to see such a good resource just disappear.
