  1. Hi guys, just got my Dell Precision 7760 i7-11850H 32GB RTX 3080 16GB 240W charger But I see a problem when testing gaming, When I am standing still for this test not clicking anything doing anything, I get around 170fps it is a great result for a laptop, but after 2-3 minutes it drops to 80fps, then after 2-3 minutes it goes back to 170fps, then after few minutes again to 80fps, I can see temps and wattage in HWINFO so it is really hot and it is using a lot of power even 200W+ when 170fps but only 120W when dropping too 80fps I did all the updates drivers and so on, in bios I checked power option to not charge battery or whatever from what I see there are 2 problems, thermal throttling and power throttling so I set up throttle stop and after burn and set fps limit in my game (90fps), now my temps are great no thermal throttling at all but still after few minutes still laptop drops to 120W and my fps is way lower, I could technically limit my gpu and cpu and fps even more but what is the point of getting RTX 3080 and 11th gen i7 but limiting yourself to 60fps? now my question is am I unlucky with my 7760 or charger or both? Would getting 340W dell precision charger fix the issue or is it overall dell precision 7760 problem in keeping high watts? Could any1 tell me how long their laptops can keep 200W or even 180W?
