Simulator trucking games like Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, Many older folks play them as a way to relax. Portal 2, Great game that exercises your brain

This Despite the fact that Windows 10/11 already comes with a lot crapware with it even with a clean install. Getting rid most of it only decrease some RAM usage and gains some storage space, Dont expect it to increase CPU performance whatsoever. I'll still recommend using programs like O&O ShutUp10++ and others that helps disable the spyware/telemetry and other pointless features without breaking anything.

That our summers every year. The humidity makes it worst especially at night and then days later we get severe storms every time a cold front passes through. Gotta keep yourself hydrated when going outside. Might have to buy some sunscreen too to protect yourself from the hot sun.

What are your temps when running benchmark tests like Cinebench and when playing games. I think its your mixed capacity ram setup that causing the stuttering issues and/or your laptop heatsink isnt aligned property after the repaste. Also thermal throtting happens when the CPU hits around 95C and GPU temps hitting around 86C.

It actually is. Around 50% faster than the 1660ti, Mines is overclocked but still nowhere close to a 140w RTX 3060. Also RTX 3060 is the successor of the RTX 2060

I might have to be a guinea pig soon because i just ran out of the paste version of Honeywell 7950 after repasting my laptop and my GF's laptop. Seems like the average lifespan of the paste is 6 months before the temps start rising again. Amazon has a good return system if these pads are garbage then again I could always buy the real honeywell on ebay if i want it quicker than buying from ebuy

No current games are going to use over 16GBs of RAM unless its badly optimized 2023 games like Hogwarts Legacy for an example which requires having more 16GBs of RAM or it'll stutter like mad. 64GBs of RAM is a overkill unless you're doing CAD work or even 4k-8k video editing. After upgrading to 32GBs of RAM i havent noticed any FPS increases in games but it performs more smoothly plus i dont have to worry about closing firefox everytime i load up a game or something that uses almost all of my RAM. Yeah because steam runs on Chromium which is dropping Windows 7/8.1 support. Still sucks though.... -
Yeah its the white version of the Legion 7 pro and Legion Slim 8

Agreed. Even most reviewers cant shill for it even if they wanted to because its that bad Also the customers have spoken!. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Awful-RTX-4060-launch-day-sales-reported-as-the-GPU-records-a-10-price-drop-in-Spain-within-a-week-of-release.732192.0.html -

Since every tech reviewer is crapping all over the RTX 4060 mind well add these too!. -
Its a dumb move by AMD especially when FSR works with all NVIDIA GPUs and its open sourced. Also modders will eventually replace FSR with DLSS in AMD sponsored games like they've been doing and vice versa with DLSS only games... NVIDIA is already anti-consumer enough but now its AMD's turn.

I started playing Forza 5 after buying it on steam due to the summer sale. It is as good as the 4th game and im having a lot fun. Im kinda bored with most shooters these days so its nice change of pace for me!

Bought a Timetec 32GB Dual Rank DDR4 RAM kit for my Legion 5 from Amazon. Cant beat the price for it especially for Dual Rank RAM.

Seems like you can get PTM7950 from Amazon but its under a different brand but it seems to be legit according to the reviews https://www.amazon.com/PTM7950-40x80x0-2mm-JOYJOM-Conductive-Silicone/dp/B0BRJB8JNX/ref=pd_ci_mcx_mh_mcx_views_0?pd_rd_w=KS7RB&content-id=amzn1.sym.0250fb24-4363-44d0-b635-ac15f859c3b5&pf_rd_p=0250fb24-4363-44d0-b635-ac15f859c3b5&pf_rd_r=CHTYE32TFXTN1XD45T5B&pd_rd_wg=tlesG&pd_rd_r=9b76235f-b0ea-497f-94bf-aaa81788d787&pd_rd_i=B0BRJB8JNX#customerReviews

@Mr. Fox Just wow..........

I see you're using Honeywell 7950. Good choice. Its best paste for gaming laptops especially for the Lenovo Legions since they wont work correctly with other thermal paste brands.

For the Metric System people: We had a very cool May/June staying in the 60s and 70s which is very strange for this time of year. Our average temps are normally in the 80s and at times hitting 90s with high dew points. The good thing about it is that we're saving money on our electric bill because we're not using our AC, The bad: the lack of rain until recently and getting the smoke from the Canadian Wildfires Example NYC: Philly:

I have a bad history with HP laptops in the past, even my last laptop which was a HP ENVY 17 went through it a share of issues and im surprised it still works even though its 9 years old after repairing most of it myself including a motherboard replacement. Im sure they've improved a lot since then and i would buy one at a good price but the only problem i have with the HP OMEN's is that they been using the same chassis design since 2020 with no changes whatsoever besides the CPU and GPU.
-
Same here even with the latest version of Firefox everything still works so its not a big deal, Same goes for Chrome after they stopped supporting Windows 7/8.1. I can still watch youtube videos and web browse without any problems. As long you stay away from certain sites you'll be fine.

Sadly its the new normal where big tech companies trying to be the moral police and control speech, Scary world we live in where you can have your devices shutdown for a BS reason. Speaking of that its funny that Amazon actually protected one of their employees after the company is known for treating their employees like crap for many years!.
-
That is a steal for a RTX 4090 laptop and the i7-13700HX is a pretty powerful CPU but sadly the HP Omens still uses the same chassis design since 2020...
