    most people play games when they are buying a 4080. I noticed no one mentioned frame generation with 4080 vs 3090ti. frame generation is only in a few games but as updates roll in for games it will be more common place much the same way as dlss. also I tried TAA native 4k and also noticed dlss looks better and improves framerates in crysis remastered. I was getting locked 60 with mixed high/low settings at 4k. I cant imagine how high the framerate would be with frame generation. quick question? is frame generation coming to 3000 series or 2000 series cards, like it doesn't seem like a feature tied to hardware like raytracing. solved

    I make nature music and beats for zen music relaxation music so I need alot of memory over 16gb as well as the odd logo...I don't know gaming with spotify in the background....16gb seems like enough...if I was doing photo editing i might need 32gb but im not not yet at least...im thinking of doing a youtube channel.....alot of money to be made and besides it would be fun

    super happy finally had the cash to buy my laptop back....been playing forza 7 on the couch now its benchmark time...what did i miss>? whats going on with the 4090s and 13900ks? also coincidentally I watched a video of super glue and ashes was an amazing fix for alot of things who would have thunk

    Charles was OK. I don't think it was his words or moderation that made nbr a great place rather the eclectic interesting people that contributed. Charles did alot but at the end of the day he was needlessly strict. Htwingnut had like 40 000 posts and was adored he got banned. So was hmscott hmscott contributed about as much as Phoenix and also was banned...I'm sure Charles had his reasons but people that make your forum? Ban them and see what happens? Not very clever

    Yeah was just generalizing...actually hisense has a 55u88h that is supposed to be amazing. Rtings and everyone is CLAIMING it gets up to 1500nits peak brightness with no blooming and a contrast ratio of over 10000 to one. Impressive

    Yeah making last gen obsolete and basically forcing you to update every year is the name of the game..this is why it's a good idea to just fiddle with graphics settings. 99 percent of the time you can have alot of settings turned down and have it look similar to ultra with a big boost in performance. Someone maybe me should make a guide for people kinda like what digital foundry does for each game so tweaking the game isn't so tedious. Tip though don't buy a new system every year...there is always something thinner faster better. Never ends. It's kinda like asking someone to count to infinity...big waste of time Lol bit of a ramble

    Still happy with my s21 ultra 128gb...only thing is I wish it had a micro SD slot or 512gb ..128gb doesn't cut it I'm thinking of holding on to this phone for another year...might buy a s23 when the s24 comes out..money problems

    I bought an android app for 2 bucks called kill apps. It automatically when you press a button shuts down all opened or unnecessary system apps and normal apps so that you get better battery life. What's cool is it actually works after my week long test. Gaming with nice settings allows for just over 5 hours and web browsing texting and music is over 20 hours all this with the screen brightness turned down to half. Mixed usage sot was 9 hours now its 11 hours 30 minutes....not bad for 2 bucks
