  1. its not that it can do 8k60 in all games its just now that it can do 8k60 with older titles and some new....not that 8k is a thing i missed where I said people are buying the 4090 for 8k gaming...jeesh im getting old and senile. its like talking about elephants and then saying peanuts are not interesting
  2. i used to be a projector dude. but idk not bright enough. check out the aaxa 4k1 its 4k led and 1000 lumens probably the best bang for buck projector on the market
  3. its kinda funny 2 years ago people were saying 4k gaming was a ways off...now 2 years later the 4090 can do 8k....technology damn does it advance fast makes me wonder where artificial intelligence will be in 5 years
  4. its like they take one step forward three steps back....why on earth are they cutting options
  5. i saw them getting 15k in timespy. thats better or on par with a 3070....too bad sli xfire is dead
  6. i have 7 videos totalling 3.4 million views for hypnosis....i guess that makes me a semi famous hypnotist
  7. the hdr prompt showed up...i have not been able to get 4khdr with youtube on my new tv
  8. 15 hours thats crazy...my chromebook lasts 10 hours heavy usage 75 percent brightness..but 15 hours thats pretty cool....i used to have a psp....but my cell fills that void now
  9. perhaps it wasn't the best guess im just going by what my internet usage is like..writing and caching pages youtube ect games wise im constantly shuffling games as im like a adhd kid when it comes to contentment with games im always shifting...but 3000 tb doesnt seem like much what does a typical HDD get?
  10. yeah its great if you use geforce now on a high end pc but then again if you have a high end pc you can just play natively..i tried it again and the look of it is basically indistinguishable from native gaming...input lag is there just not as bad as you would expect on a weak chrome book...witcher 3 and cyberpunk are playable but games like crysis you will need wifi 6e or something not sure would have to test it out on my gaming laptop when or if i get it back from the pawn shop...scary being this poor and lacking options to get out of a rut
  11. at first i though this was a video of real life then i looked closer and more carefully jesus a half life alyx moment
  12. had to pawn my laptop again. financial issues.....dabbling in ge force now crysis remastered on my chromebook...looks wise it looks native and runs maxed out but lag wise this chromebook isnt the fastest some lag but still playable
  13. really interesting thread. thanks for sharing all this with us. I wonder what you get in timespy, would be great if you could post benchmarks, It would help me in deciding if its worth it going for the best or just the best bang for buck.
  14. I was wrong saw a video on ddr5...the speed can make a difference in gaming when your cpu bottlenecked....interesting i did not know that
  15. nvidia in 10 years..amish mafia at its best just listen to the lyrics and see the simile or metaphor
  16. ok i think im going to pull the trigger, people are talking about the graphics which im a nut for and the gameplay is apparently amazing...king is right ign isnt accurate but why a 6?
  17. in that video I posted it shows relative performance and sometimes the 7900xtx beats and matches the 4090...now thats freeky cool....im actually thinking of going the egpu route, I might lose some performance on the laptops 1080p display but I should be ok with my 4k120 tv as a monitor like a 4-5x uplift
  18. I have to agree.. you guys are really smart, im a member of a science forum and mostly just read but you guys are on par. if your going to be arrogant at least back it up eh..thanks for your input @Rage Set
  19. ok guys i found a cool video..it explains everything. you guys probably already know this but its good for people that are new
  20. he threw me off getting simple math wrong, big attitude for such a dumb guy, and this coming from me im not the coldest beer in the fridge but yes that guy is arrogant.
  21. 40-80 is 100 percent increase. 100 percent of 40 is 40 and a increase of 100 is 40...hence 80 lost my attention after that if he answered this Question 2. If the radius of the Gaussian surface enclosing a charge is halved, how does the electric flux through the Gaussian surface change ? Answer: Electic flux ϕE is given by ϕE=∮E→⋅ds⃗ =Qε0 …. where [Q is total charge inside the closed surface ∴ On changing the radius of sphere, the electric flux through the Gaussian surface remains same. funny guy though its funny because I remember taking physics 12 in high school and it was like a 10 000 times more complex than a simple percentage increase we would have to do percentage increases in our heads lol..like really a guy doesnt have grade 4 math and I should listen too his take? hey I know nothing about quantum physics how would you like to join ryans quantum physics university.
  22. I can't see ddr5 making a huge difference in gaming but with the new intel chips I see the gains as worthy of upgrading to that is, if a game calls for it. I benchmark alot I find it relaxing and fun but I think gaming could be fun again if developers were more innovative like nintendo, which is also kinda getting stagnent. the computer boomers basically geniuses in their own right are retiring and suprise suprise not much is coming out, sure there is a few stand outs like GTA V/witcher 3/ and red dead redemption 2. its just that most of the new games are sequels now at least the engaging ones I might buy the new 3dmark benchmark on payday but thats about it....time to save up for a killer laptop or desktop still having a hard time deciding if portability is worth it when I never take my laptops anywhere but the odd time to the couch
  23. 8000mhz? geez I think my gaming laptop is 3200mhz I kinda wish I waited for the 12th gen intel cpus and ddr5. I kinda wonder how much of a difference it would make for my high refresh rate gaming. Im just guessing but I think im still gpu bottlenecked with my 3060 and 11800h but congrats on 8000mhz i guess it doesnt make much difference.
  24. I remember the good old days when value was king, AMD did pretty good with its 5870. And mobile parts were a far cry just as they are today but man was it fun benchmarking games and trying to get 30fps in crysis maxed out. now we have cards valued higher than what entire systems costed back then. I really hope AMD surpasses nvidia in rasterization performance so that these crazy prices are put to sleep. I think its a really good sign that the 7900xtx is within 10 percent of the 4090, hey you never know they might just leap frog the ngreedia guys next generation. fingers crossed
  25. just an update ign gave it a 6. people are praising it probably because it looks so good but from what ign says its not impressive. I really hope thats not the case as this might be the next game I buy. anyone own it?
