70 000 geez. how can it be a 68 000 advantage. papusan! did you give up on benchmarking? no new results, or did you max it out? I seem to be able to top my old scores after a few days of fiddling. I literally went from a max of 9050 to 9395 over the course of 5 months. its a slow process testing every driver but its rewarding beating an old bench. I bought these to go with my gamer-boy laptop. i don't find them too gamerboy ish. and also to add they are new, so 2 notches better than the standard old. also the performance new games need to have them look the way they do is a joke. heres cyberpunk at 4k medium preset and it looks like a game from 2007 -

lol yeah, my memory is pretty shot...starting to forget the basics, slowly dying. It bumped me from 9900 in timespy to 11000 pretty big jump. and the pads are settled now and performance is a notch or two better, im not getting top scores but im happy with the performance. as for gaming temps and scores, when I set vsync to 60fps at 4k my temps are in the 70s which im happy with. really no point in going over 4k60 with a 3060 and with your setup i would just lock 120/4k. I love my jokebook for what it is but I can't help but want moar moar. never ending pursuit of better performance which is never attained. example of a slightly older game averaging 60 at 4k maxed all settings on if only I could run cyberbug 1922 at any setting with 4k -

speaking of cooling, my laptop runs alot cooler lifted off the desk allowing me to break my old scores. it will be interesting to see what games ill be able to run in 5 years and at what resolution and framerate. I think if I do wind up going the desktop route and get the fastest parts I should be good for 10 years if the 1080ti is anything to go by. my 3060 performs like a 1080ti and the 1080ti came out like 6.5 years ago, and it should still be able to game at 4k low in 2-4 years. consoles vs pc....there really is no comparison -

found this, seems like a good starting point as im not gunning for the best, just plain sick and tired of this laptop overheating, getting into a game and it shuts down due to temps after just 30min. https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/open-box-hp-omen-25l-gaming-pc-amd-ryzen-5-5600x-512gb-ssd-16gb-ram-rtx-3060-ti/16644117 -

sorry that post was ignorant, just mentioning what I use. but lately they are worse and worse. results are clouded with dummy pics. we can thank uncle TRU for the new search results lol..who needs freedom, not me I guess its just @raptorddd @kojack and me left in off topic, aside from that guy that bumps his own threads and comments about his own comments about which ideas seem like they had influence from moonshine and magic M -
yeah it just seems crazy ( nut job) crazy which ironically im technically a crazy person and if I think somethings crazy I don't really know how crazy crazy can be. crazy. oh yeah did I mention crazy, might have forgot to add that in. I spent 2 days tweaking the windows 10 core using highly regarded tweaks, then all excited I ran a cinebench run! results 12300 vs 13000 for stock windows 10. why on earth would I remove apps and programs if it slows down overall performance. I have tried every tweak known to man and sometimes just lowering the settings is the best windows tweak. what are you doing on your computer if the upmost importance is to guard your activities. like I could suggest illegal or unsavory pictures. or legit the CIA is spying on you because you belong to an elite hacker gang that steals billions of dollars and just happens to spend spare time talking about how bloated windows is..lol personally i'd be on a yacht

locked 60. I just needed to tweak the heck out of my system to manage 60 locked, and here I thought the 3060 and its 6gb vram was obsolete. simply not true, I can play minesweeper solitaire and mobi the magic crystals, many more AAA games when would be a good time to upgrade to a desktop? should I wait for 14th gen -
they are not exposed to 50c on a regular basis to what ive looked up, i know its semantics but do you have a modern day source? would be interesting to see what certain people experience in the continent africa. found this on a science site Extreme heat shocks are increasingly linked to poor economic and health outcomes. This paper constructs hour-degree bins of temperature exposure to assess the effects of extreme heat on early child nutrition, a health outcome correlated with educational attainment and income in adulthood. Linking 15 rounds of repeated cross-section data from five West African countries to geo-coded weather data, we find that extreme heat exposure increases the prevalence of both chronic and acute malnutrition. We find that a 2 °C rise in temperature will increase the prevalence of stunting by 7.4 percentage points, reversing the progress made on improving nutrition during our study period. source: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0095069622000626 so yes your correct the temps these poor souls are experiencing are having a profound impact on health and well being. its not like the go out and play when its 50c, 50c isn't common after looking up temperature extremes in africa, and it varies as africa is a big continent. here it talks about how temperatures are linked in some way to 290 000 deaths https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5773242/

@jaybee83 @Mr. Fox @Papusanis this safe? https://windowsxlite.com/2075pro/ I have never tried a lite windows and don't know much about the source, I seem to have bad(dumb) luck with new programs, im downloading it right now and won't install it until I find out more. update I cancelled download as it seems suspect, mediafire and he put all the effort into this. jay where did you get your pheonix os from? does it cost money? -
I don't know how you guys can stand the heat, I went to the store in 36c weather and it felt like i crawled into an oven. uncomfortable and dangerous heat. when will people wake up and relize this heat can cause stroke and ultimately death and that we are fortunate to have AC units. I bet if I walked to the store after about 30 min in the heat I would collapse.
