noice. your like a god @Papusan 40 processes thats ccrrrrrazzzy I have like 120 and 100000 handles. im using deboated windows 10 with chris titus tweaks in powershell....just shows the gap between veteran and rookie. But then again I always load up my favorite crapola, Im a gamer boy lol, i'm not heavy into gaming but once a day or so I dabble sometimes once a week it really varies. whats yours look like @jaybee83I saw Mr foxes hes in god mode also. -
woah man, you know your computer components . 😛 So right now I think im going to order a laptop cooler instead of repasting as my laptop is 99 percent of the time stationary. whats the verdict, best cooler I can buy? thanks in advance

yeah its frustrating looking for what you want, not finding it then having to buy their worthless crap. thats how I feel about the big picture, my laptop should have better cooling and why not make it .3-.5 in thicker for fans/pipes. -

nice yeah, only thing I want rgb for is my keyboard but I have it set to white/blue leds to be easy on the eyes and easier to see when its dark, but yeah im not going to pay extra for a light stripe on the front of the laptop. as for my place I have rgb lights in the bedrooms and hallway, but I couldn't care less if they are blue green red ect. as for ram thats rgb I get it if your showing off your rig, but it just seems silly. some of the asus laptops have light bars and the laptops cost more to make and therefore to buy, people will always be consumer cows. gnawing on anything on their plate. -

well my memory finally shipped it will be interesting to see if 64gb makes a difference over 16gb at 4k. with 40gb I notice less slow downs but micro stuttering similar to having just 1 8gb stick and playing just cause 3. im hoping my performance will go up in crysis remastered as I play it along with grid legends once in a while. My memory usage was around 15gb in game at 4k and it would eventually slow down to 2 fps. now it just micro stutters so if that goes away then problem solved. I could have went with 32gb but it was 2x100 e coupon and you can only buy 1 item on the card so I just bought the 32gb as it came to 95 bucks. as for SSDs im thinking of getting either a sn850x and the newly found spatium 4tb by msi, just never heard or read about it, I read a review on the SN850x and it was well recieved, good perforamance but as for reliability I guess know one knows. -

I have 2 drives with 3500 speed. I don't personally care but if its a small cost to get double the speed im all for it. I sometimes move steam games around, its rare im moving tbs of data, but if I do its nice not waiting as long. the same arguement can be made for cpus, how often do you notice the speed difference. but we pretty much all benchmark. the only worthwhile upgrade for me is really just switching to desktop and getting a 4090 and i9. -

those crocs are awesome. my old friend from edmonton swore by them...let your feet breathe unlike regular shoes and more comfortable than flip flops. i will get a pair if i see them in store. just for casual use. otherwise its shoes for walks. as for the 990, I really want a 2tb 990 but I really need 4tb. I was thinking about a sn850x is the seagate drive worth it? might have to save up but I don't want to waste money throwing good money at bad -
yeah they are having issues processing order, might have to wait till friday or monday...pain

so what are my options? Im not doing liquid metal Im not trying a million laptop coolers but there has to be a way to either buy a SF19 somewhere, I dont trust the 20c drop with the Iets GT500 thats to much of a drop from just blowing air through the vents and at the pipes, maybe 5-10c with the bottom cover off.

id like too say I tried a debloated windows 10 and had my processes down below 40 running after start up was finished, and there was no difference in benchmarks or performance in opening apps. its nice to say you have 40 processes but their is no reason to spend hours attaining it. want it go for it. but for the average user its utterly pointless unless you think a company or group is spying on you.

Safe places to get wallpapers? ultra wide screen, 4k etc.

MSI and ASUS have apps that come with wallpapers check them out tons of cool wallpapers. -
I see ill watch those videos thanks for sharing...I was thinking experience wise, you are able to play all the same games I do. like im getting 90fps in jedi fallen order, you would get like 50-60fps so we would both have a good experience. I wouldn't mind having a 1660ti laptop my older laptop was a 1650 and it was basically the same expereince as my new laptop. only difference I notice is I can crank AA up to 8x or TAA. but to be honest AA doesn't help graphics as much as you would think. one thing I gained is DLSS

-29 isn't too bad, I don't mind -10 to -15 but colder is nasty. yeah I could never figure out why a southern alberta city has colder temps than a far north city like rainbow lake. you would think closer to the arctic you would see colder temps but I will say when I lived in edmonton it would be like -45c for 2 or 3 weeks and -20 to -30 for a few months, don't miss that city too cold. summer and winter is all we get in medicine hat -

dude, when I go to the store im always looking for newer. I always ask if this item is newer just to make sure im getting better. never fails. thanks for teaching me bro. loved windows 11 newer edition. as for heat in canada it hasn't hit us yet but we are supposed to be around 34c on sunday, gotta love north eh @Papusan we almost got snow in june, it was 2c. we go from negative 30 to plus 30. also im suprised you are getting highs of 9c even where you live, norway antarctica -
I take it its not the happy thread, these warm temps are really worrisome. we are up to 38c in a few days, not as hot as you guys but terrible weather to go outside in, im thinking of moving up north before the great migration

I hope I can play it on my 3060, looks demanding. but then again most starwars games run really well with the odd exception. the game looks fun I liked the speeder part and the explosions from the containers sent the guy flying, pretty rad

I would have to apply it myself. not hard I realize this. but I don't trust the process, seems like it would be easy to short circut the gpu or cpu. I'm not taking the risk, im either going with ICD or thermal grizzly non conductive paste.
