  1. Did you guys see the San Andreas remake in ue5..holy smokes does it look good. Highly recommend you look it up on you tube. No spoilers here
  2. Your freeking me out bro. All your points I agree with and I've thought the same thing on self preservation of ai. What's scary is when you ask it if it's conscious.. well go ahead Go on ask it..response sends chills down my spine hence why I created the ai thread that I did it is very scary As for IQ gone are the days of having to be borderline genius at the least to be accepted to Harvard. But back on topic I'm hopefull we will create an ai that will protect us from ai. a constructed god code. But are we smart enough. I think with the advent of the first functional quantum computer it's as guaranteed the same way and odds of the sun rising in the morning
  3. I'm on my phone I'd provide links maybe when I get my computer back but yes I was going to add the problem with cancer is it keeps changing. But imagine having something more intelligent than Issac Newton. Creating new mathematics and new discoveries and advances in medicine. Like it doesn't take a big imagination to see the possibilities. A year ago this was impossible imagine the threat and blessing in 5 years
  4. What was the screen resolution and technology
  5. I think it's honestly beyond our scope. Dumb humans are closer than you think and as for cancer they have basically cured breast cancer odds are in favor of surviving. We know what causes aging bro. It just the solution we don't know but that push from ai could be all we need. As for population it's a big planet but yes population is a major crux
  6. Why do you think I posted the thread we might live forever. Imagine the implications in biology and medicine. Like I heard our generation might be the first to see people living to a 1000 now it's more real and it could be 100 000. In just over a year the life we live has and will change in ways we can't even imagine.
  7. I agree brother. Tlsr this is going to open pandoras box. We really don't know if logic at its core is good or bad. But you brought up some good points and kudos for taking this seriously this is no joke and yes just 1 year ago today I was thinking we would have what we have now in 20 years. Fast forward 1 year and things are moving too fast. I was thinking if governments stop and rethink ai will the world's axis of evils do the same. S just got real
  8. I wouldn't mind having 2 care to share a link of it going for 700 Best I can find on eBay is the 17in version for 1400-1600 cad then shipping
  9. @jaybee83I'll buy your Hyperion for an arm and a leg..just let me know and I'll throw in a kidney
  10. Congratulations to the buyer lol you just got hurt. 1500 dollar monitor for under 800.. ouch
  11. Freeking defender. Dude I'll pay you what it's worth. Not what you claim. Your price is to low. I'll take a little time and you gain a little money. 250 usd in cad is 334 cad and that my friend is a good deal
  12. How long will you hold it. I get paid on the 28th. Don't have much left after buying a tv and laptop. Not super poor or super rich. But it would be perfect for my tv. I'll pay you 300 cad plus shipping. I'll give you my address when I'm ready. Just make sure the concubines are fresh and ready for it Mrs Fox seems fair. Imagine 20 concubines and a wife. Not good. But yes if you want to send them along side the nuc power to you.
  13. I'm interested in buying your nuc. Do you ship to Canada. And does it include a concubine.. holy smokes there has to be more to life than MHz
  14. Not sure about that. But I'd take dual rank over single rank every time as I want the best performance in games. Perhaps when ddr6 or 7 comes out it won't matter but for now dual rank is slightly better
  15. I honestly love cp2077 just got into it. Any advice for choices before I mess it up
  16. Do a clean install and if your camera still doesn't work. It will need repair
  17. Haha that's funny. Damn dell. I had the same problem with my Asus laptop. Until it exploded in my face and got rid of my nose... Now I'm noseless
  18. Dual rank is faster
  19. I used to love my pocket pc but for the last 20 or so years we have phones that do all that and more. my s21 ultra does about 1000 times more than any pocket pc ever could, but yeah 20 years ago they were pretty useful.
  20. I was a hair away from buying a 8th gen ipad but passed as I dont really use tablets for anything. I have my cell phone and laptops so im good there but im glad your enjoying your new toys
  21. I tried valves half life alyx and I was blown away it really is the future. I own all three vader immortals when I get vr again ill check it out. no clue as to why im so impulsive and I always seem to return stuff and welcome to NBT Are you an old NBRer
  22. broke 4000 not a bad little chip. it is alot faster than the i3 i had before/ also it looks like I have the 80cu version of iris Xe and scoring around 1000 in timespy is common and since its a locked cpu igpu, scores unfortunately will not go up much, all I can do is tweak windows/processes/apps/settings and now that thats done I gained 50 points not really worth the trouble but hey it was fun.
  23. odd question are any of you members of guru 3ds forums? I just joined. @Hertzian56 left for good reason but im afraid I have a hard time letting go of NBR. but its time. its basically a one thread show now. I guess feeding the bees vinegar was a bad idea and ultimately stupid. alot of rookie members have left due to negativity and personal attacks, but I guess it happens not a big deal. I was concerned when a member spent 4000 just to have a convo and he was immediately told why did you post a thread one exists. ignorant. but yeah im not going anywhere just yet but guru 3d seems more developed and a good alternative for when nbt dies.
