  1. You are correct it is an IPS Model Number: 82SN000DCF at Bestbuy https://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/IdeaPad/IdeaPad_5_Pro_16ARH7?M=82SN000DCF
  2. Vivaldi was sad so made a time travel to XIX Century Romantics. One of out of time Vivaldi pieces. RV 583 II. Andante
  3. What a sad state of affair regarding quality workmanship at Lenovo.
  4. I was able to transfer videos from Android to Windows they finish more than 300MB - i see the data being transfered and the phone app in the windows saying it concluded, but only appear as 0 bytes in tne PC temp folders. W11 , Android 13
  5. The lack of component choice in laptop industry forcing consumers to buy top CPU's, top SSD with top GPU seems to be at end at least in HP. https://www.notebookcheck.net/HP-Omen-17-gaming-laptop-with-Intel-i7-13700HX-and-Nvidia-RTX-4090-drops-to-US-2-359-99.726361.0.html
  6. 300 nits, i assume you have good sunlight in the office.
  7. Indeed i am ok with 17.3 or a new 18" (17.3 16:10). I move in apartment or between apartments, i also take it to the studio i sometimes work for. Backpack works okay.
  8. I prefer 17.3, i can use 15.6 for office but that is about it. 3D, Gaming, movies i need a 17.3. Or 18" note that current 18" are not like the monster 18" of the past they like 17.3" large but with 16:10 screen, so they have only a bit more depth for more screen height.
  9. If you don't know that Rock and Roll was invented in XVIII Century 3rd movement.
  10. The problem with headsets is that force you to use it and be ON always. Looking up at my 40cm distant 17.3 laptop monitor i can see birds bathing in a table nearby, i can look away, change focus which is essential for healthy eyes. I have no doubts that there will be a big medical industry business if VR headsets are going to be common from physical to psychological issues. I don't think that more that 1-2hours are feasible to use continuously.
  11. I have heard but i am not familiar with that. Too green yet for me to be invested in that.
  12. I want to paint color over text i can't, i want to make math ops in the tables i can't, i want to make another row in the table i can't. I don't even think i can add a table in Android version.
  13. I bought a Lenovo M10 Tab Plus 3 Gen( gosh these guys make it difficult...) for 200 euro and have been good for general work. 500 nits screen 4Gb ram /128Gb storage. I can go to the balcony with it comfortable as long in not direct sunlight, something i can't do with HP office laptop which have a s... screen. This is one of the advantages with tablets i am seeing, to have a screen with same quality in a laptop you have to go around 1000 euro. I also like to be at coffee table or in a sofa with it, it is a no frills device. But some Android apps still have work to do- i am looking at you Microsoft One Note.
  14. Why you do want to do that, VRAM? This is the score/number of benchmarks in Blender Cycles rendering GPU this is an advanced render engine that exploits the RTX cards. NVIDIA Quadro P5200 605.45 2 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 618.04 493 These are obviously very low values for today. My 3060 laptop does 2615.
  15. Yeah, the problem is you can't go back anymore. I have for office work a lousy cheap HP laptop from 2018 and i can't make me see movies in there. They just look too bad.
  16. You continue to be a bit vague. What your request for screen? 100%sRGB 300 nits at least? screen size 15.6 or 16 (15.6 with 16:10) 17.3" or 18"(17.3 with 16:10) memory 16 or 32? no uses anymore HHD in laptop so 1Tb SSD? 2 slots to put another?
  17. I use a Asus Proart 248 as secondary monitor to my 17.3 laptop. I like that i can put the bottom if it at level of laptop screen bottom and that the color reproduction is not much different - i already had chosen the laptop to be 100% sRGB. It cost me 220 euro - is already an old series i guess that is the reason- but with certified 100% sRGB colors good 350 nits, 16:10 , elevation, pivot, rotation and many options it is a very nice one. Surprised that it gets 75hz more than usual for this monitor type.
  18. Portability and power scales are not the same for everyone. There are persons that already achieved maximum power with great portability, like for example some writer that only need enough power to edit some texts.
  19. LG Gram have 14" if he wishes - that one i think is about 1kg - and here some models cost less then 1000 euro or are thereabouts, and includes a 23% tax.
  20. Very light and with long battery there are also the LG Gram series. Maybe you can even consider a bigger one. 17" for example is only 1.3kg. For touch consider Lenovo Yoga series - i am not sure all of that line are touch but many are.
