I see. I'm looking for some specific heatpipes for a heatsink mod for my Clevo P870DM, if you are able to source some "custom" ones, I'd be willing to pay a bit for some. Everywhere I have looked its either too expensive, or not the bends I need for them to fit right.

I would go with a hair dryer, Maytee used one in his old thread and said it worked fine, just be sure to keep moving it around a bit as to not overheat other things on the motherboard.

Do you have access to heatpipes and have the ability to bend them at specific angles?

Hmmm, I'd rather not spend 166 on a bracket, I may just cut my own. Glad you got yours though!

Nice, I'm glad you got it! If you have a screw bit set, just eyeball it. I've taken an LGA 1151 mounting bracket off with a very basic bit set. Also, would you mind telling me how much they charged you for the plate? I forgot to ask them.

Did Upgradeyourlaptop ever get back to you if you don't mind me asking?

I talked to upgradeyourlaptop (which I think is Eurocom on Ebay, not sure though) and they said they did have some of the TM backplates. They didn't give me a price as I cannot buy one right now, but they told me they have some in stock. Message them saying someone else who has talked to them about the backplates recently sent you so they aren't confused.

Yeah, I was surprised it hadn't shut down last night as I had expected it to. I really hoped I could have been there until the end. I've got a video of my "last" post that was posted at 11:59 EST as I had thought it would shut down as soon as it hit 12:00 EST, but it hadn't so I quickly edited the post lol.
