  1. Hi, ive sucsessfully modded my Notepal U3 , with 3 120mm fans, a power supply , a box for the couplings, and a switch on the box. So far, At idle the gpu is 32-33C, Cpu is around 45-50 C , the laptop fans are not spinning at all. At load ( tryed Heaven benchmark) Cpu goes up to 65C and gpu is around 50C , the gpu fans still not spinning cuz its not reaching 55C . At this point i didnt want to cut the frame of the cooler for better airflow , because its cooling enough the laptop. Tested with an Alienware 17, 4900mq and a p3200 mxm (80W) 1544 boost , its only perfCap on power limit.

  2. Hi , Ive already upgraded my Ranger with a quadro P3000 lvds screen and optimus, so it works in there without any problem. I did order a P3200 to it and its on his way, im gonna share the upgrade, but now my question is that i can see the 120hz screen upgrade. As i see its needs the lcd cable that is edp but its 40 pin (kinda confusing to me after the p370sm3 with 50pin ) and the screen that is 120hz and (discontinued) 3d feature. If i buy a normal edp 40 pin screen witch is ips but not 120hz and 3d it will work?

  3. Your welcome , haha same was here, m6800 with 980m, m6700 with 970m, i was able to get an s7100x work in a clevo p370sm3 as a secondary card with a 1060 in the main slot. Recently sold my k5100m and 765m from the m6800/Alienware  . Now im gonna try a zotac 1070 but as i heard i will loose bios fan controll due to the zotac gpu thermistor incompatibilty . in clevos its goes emergency mode and beeps /auto shut down. I prefer the m6700 over the m6800 cuz of its gpu cooler, 2 heatpipes vs 3 heatpipes.

  4. Hi! , Im wondering about to oc my p3000 a litle bit. Its in an Alienware 17 haswell , and its performing very well in thermal side. Almost not spinning the fans and 60C on the card at full load . Now its max boost is around 1240mhz and stay there at full time, no drop and no throtling either. It was tested in valley benchmark endless mode prox. 20 mins of run.

  5. Nice mod! Amd still kept refreshing his drivers to this card? And is it worth the more pwr consume rather than changing the card to a newer or stronger mxm card? Btw the m6100 is a very cool card, in my Dell m6700 with 3720qm its maxed around 50C with almost not spinning fans, or the M6700 has good colling solution cuz the 980m and 970m was cooler, and has significantly lower fan noise compared to a clevo p370sm3 .

The P3000 should install just like a 10 series card. It will work best on the eDP display but it should also work fine on the LVDS display by piggybacking off the Intel graphics. You will usually find a small performance drop with this though.

I haven't tried a P3000 myself so maybe someone else can confirm this.

thank you, ive have some strange thing going on with the 765m pics attached, its idle. Maybe the laptop is turning off the dgpu or its somehow faulty? its claims that if the card is present the fans are going 100% but its not going .

  7. They said after the hub  replace,  theres no shortage on the board , but i mentioned him that  theres maybe a blow fuse somewherein the power board,  we can  simply  connect  to the bios chip  with a cabled eeprom writer and flash it? Or need to be  replaced,  or desolder from the board and write it?
