off conversation sorry in advance.

I decided to start from scratch due to a perfection itch. I want services/apps/programs/features its nice having options with an install. the only reason to delete apps is too de clutter and improve performance however I decided to give super intelligent unrestricted h2o.ai chat bot AI a chance to tweak my computer, and it worked, I got my highest scores(undervolted) with all apps/programs/features on. I have never been able to get 9k in timespy with a stock(undervolted) install and this 9k posting is with every app I like installed with spotify playing in the background. UN-FLipEN-real give AI a chance.

Screenshot-1.png

here is the AI generated code and yes its safe lol....about as safe as it gets

responsiveness.batinternet optimisation.batdebloat.bat

fun fact I got my new completely stock cpu and gpu score and it isnt even with tweaked nvidia control panels settings

Screenshot-2.png

ok the above photo is with power at normal and not max performance. below is max performance and tweaked settings in nvidia control panel but no overclock or funny stuff and no undervolting. this might be partition worthy thanks to that nifty AI chat bot. code seems pretty good.

Screenshot-3.png

ok step one

install windows 10 to jump drive and use media creation tool and then install windows

step two install all drivers

step three run debloat bat i posted

step three reboot

step four install apps that you need

step five run responsiveness.bat and then

step 6 restart and enjoy. this is with the crappy newest drivers yes newer in this case sucks but for arguements sake we want compatibility and with newer drivers its hit and miss but the older drivers sometimes have more issues.

you should be seeing your highest scores with an overclock that you typically use with tweaked nvidia control panel settings

option 7

tweak some more(kill services and apps) if your simply chasing number in the install.

ok here's the final say.

my highest score was obtained this way this is windows 10 not 11 which performance is better in gpu related tasks. this is easily my highest score and thats that.

Wouldn”t DLVR be basically equivalent to undervolting, and thus be mostly of benefit in stock benchmarks and to people who don’t tune things in the BIOS? If so, then probably not

that much of a saving grace. Hopefully the rumours prove to be FUD and there is more to this refresh, but if core counts are not going up for the 14900K then this is likely to be a disappointing iteration indeed.

I mean, was there even any doubt that core counts were the same? What can Intel even do?

Its not like they cut down their top end like nvidia

my gpu matched 8th place gpu in firestrike. well did slightly better. thats with ddr4 3200.

funny when people that are good with words but bad at problem solving and other aspects are giving advice. but thats another story for another time  😛

here it is, they are using faster ram which can play a big role in higher scores

Great question. What could they theoretically do? Add cores? Sure (probably not too many) Increase cache? Yes. Improve the IMC? Almost surely. Hence some residual doubt about the actual features of the 14900K.

One would hope they won’t release a 3% faster flagship, as the leaks seam to suggest. Well, hope springs eternal I guess :)

I have a distinct feeling that Nvidia is going to throw a haymaker at both in the near future with a refresh or something. We can shame Nvidia about their performance for the dollar or lack of VRAM, but the one thing Jensen does not like is to lose in actual performance to AMD or Intel.

I wouldn't put it past Nvidia to release a 4080 TI or something to remind the market that they are still the overpriced leader.

100%. Intel tends to behave in a similar manner. They get really lax when there is no serious competition to their flagship and when they see a competitor with a product within striking distance they move from complacency to "win at all costs" beast mode. What they (NVIDIA in particular) still suck at is charging a price that reflects value for the entry point. It is almost always inflated and punitive.

That always sucks.  They generally hand it off to USPS for final delivery and between the time it leaves the shipper until USPS receives it for delivery is almost always 2-3 times longer than normal shipping service. I always cringe when I buy something shipped that way. It's not worth the money saved, even if shipping is free, to have to wait that long to get it. Might as well order from AliExpress if it is going to take that long.

Dang, that is certainly worth grabbing at that price. The 6900 XT is quite a bit more powerful than 2080 Ti, but I see that Hydro Copper you mention and for a 2080 Ti FTW3 that price is hard to beat. Minus the cost of the block, the GPU is like $250.

They probably got in a hurry and never scanned it when it left NewEgg. I have seen that with USPS, UPS and FedEx and sometimes it never changes until delivery when they do that. It will flip from "label created" to "delivered" on the same day. Try searching USPS (yes, not a typo) for the UPS tracking number and see what it shows. And, don't be surprised if it shows "delivered" when all they did was hand it off to USPS for final delivery. That has happened to me several times and it is usually delivered by USPS the next business day.  Sometimes the UPS Mail Innovations tracking number will work on the USPS tracking page.

But, isn't it a double standard to celebrate when AMD produces a "fake framerate" tool when so many were about to pop a vein hating on NVIDIA for doing exactly the same thing? It guess it makes "fake frames" OK if it is not proprietary and works on any GPU. I guess that's the world we live in now. It's obvious in lots of area in our private, public and political lives. The rules only apply to the people you don't like and it's OK to make stuff up as you go and twist the rules if it is someone you don't like, LOL.

For the record, I wasn't one of the haters and I always thought it was kind of silly hating on NVIDIA for it. I think it's nice that now everyone can take part in celebration of fake framerates. Maybe it will do enough to eek a couple more years of our GPUs too old and weak to game at a decent framerate without it.

Technically, there wasn't any reason before now either.  But, I think if people can use it to avoid spending money on a GPU upgrade it's a good thing.

I think the title of that video is just clickbait. "Destroy NVIDIA" how? It won't make any GPU faster or slower. What it will do is change the way the graphic workload is rendered so that older and/or weaker GPUs will struggle less and produce less of a slideshow. And, it will likewise make the fastest GPUs have higher framerates as well. But, they won't be any faster.

Dawid finally got it to work.

I finally decided to stop procrastinating about popping the lid of the 13900K that I bought on OC.net to replace the one that died. Previous core max was 97°C in Cinebench R23 at 57xP, 45xE, 49xC and delidded bare die core max is now 76°C. I just love the Dark Base Pro 901. It is the perfect compliment to the Z690 Dark mobo.

Any discussion of the frame rate generation is basically orthogonal to the discussion of NVidia anti-consumer practices.

FRG has pros and cons (I personally don't care either way, but arguably there are some scenarios where it could provide a benefit), but NVidia's attempting to drive sales by not supporting their own older (sometimes still quite powerful) devices is just a con for the consumer.

Ideally software features like that would be hardware-agnostic, from the consumer's, rather than Mr 40 Billion's, perspective.
