Aaron44126
Yeah, I guess it wasn't clear in my post. It was previously unavailable through MSVS (despite being available to OEMs), but it became available through MSVS on October 1 (...I was downloading images from there at the same time that I made my post...), as well as through business volume license systems. I've been using it in an ARM VM on my Mac for a few months with no issues. Haven't upgraded any bare metal systems yet and probably will give it a good six months to shake out any issues. (I just saw this about an undeletable upgrade cache that you might get...) 1 Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2023 (personal) • Dell Precision 7560 (work) • Full specs in spoiler block below Info posts (Windows) — Turbo boost toggle • The problem with Windows 11 • About Windows 10/11 LTSC Spoiler Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2023 (personal) M2 Max 4 efficiency cores 8 performance cores 38-core Apple GPU 96GB LPDDR5-6400 8TB SSD macOS 15 "Sequoia" 16.2" 3456×2234 120 Hz mini-LED ProMotion display Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth 5.3 99.6Wh battery 1080p webcam Fingerprint reader Also — iPhone 12 Pro 512GB, Apple Watch Series 8 Dell Precision 7560 (work) Intel Xeon W-11955M ("Tiger Lake") 8×2.6 GHz base, 5.0 GHz turbo, hyperthreading ("Willow Cove") 64GB DDR4-3200 ECC NVIDIA RTX A2000 4GB Storage: 512GB system drive (Micron 2300) 4TB additional storage (Sabrent Rocket Q4) Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 15.6" 3940×2160 IPS display Intel Wi-Fi AX210 (Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth 5.3) 95Wh battery 720p IR webcam Fingerprint reader Previous Dell Precision 7770, 7530, 7510, M4800, M6700 Dell Latitude E6520 Dell Inspiron 1720, 5150 Dell Latitude CPi

People still prefer older Win 10. See bolded text. Windows 11 lost momentum in November Microsoft's Windows 11 campaigns have led to increased market share - for Windows 10. The fact remains, however, that Windows 10, despite its impending retirement, is still the market-dominant operating system and may remain so for longer than Microsoft had hoped. Much of the reporting surrounding Windows 11 has revolved around bugs , incompatibility with certain hardware and higher system requirements, which of course does not help to attract new users. LOL. Why bother if you use Win 10 ? Microsoft details how to install Windows 11 on unsupported PC not meeting requirements As mentioned above, the company absolutely wants people on Windows 11 as even the latest Statcounter data suggests it isn't going as great as Microsoft would have hoped. Thus Microsoft even allows users on unsupported PCs to upgrade to Windows 11 but makes such users sign a waiver first. Aaron44126
Well. Ran today's Patch Tuesday patch on my Windows 11 ARM VM. It is running Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC. After the patch, I had new weather and news stuff on the lock screen, at the bottom, that was not there before. (Four rectangular tiles.) I had to go find the toggle in settings to disable it.
