Fantastic news that having it installed prevents Windows updates from getting applied. That's probably the best news I've heard in the last year. Everyone should install it immediately. It is also very pleasing and satisfying to see Windows 11 losing the ground on market share rather than gaining. I hope it produces irreversible financial harm to them. Windows started circling the drain when Windows 8 was released and it has been on a trajectory of decline ever since. It more resembles a smartphone/tablet OS. It is more bloated than ever before. br2
Just anecdotally, the performance issues i was having were the same with or without allback. Windows went south after NT5, aka Windows 2000. The problem is you need to pay developers to keep Linux current. Didn't somebody just hack its back door?
br2
Btw, any Macrium Reflect users, be sure to check periodically that it's still licensed. It uses some trigger from Windows to determine that it's on a new machine. If it decides the license is no longer valid, it stops doing backups without telling you. I like it but that's annoying.

They have no limits how lame this OS will looks like. And the start menu is more and more as a huge Joke. Of course they don't want that you tweak the start menu with proper software/or tweaks... Because they prefer to use it as an ad page forwards. Disgusting? And Windows ain't freeware... You pay for it. And still this OS will be filled with more and more ads Logging out in Windows 11 will soon be more complicated Software today 11:03 Microsoft will hide the Windows logout button behind more advertising for the Microsoft 365 service... And here you see Microsoft going the Apple route. They make features that match own home-brewed ARM chips. Windows as OS for everyone and for all platforms is soon dead. It doesn't help much when Microsoft make their newer OS worse than previous versions. Microsoft going backwards into the future. The 10 Worst Things About Windows 11 We like the clean design and improved performance of Microsoft's latest operating system, but it still suffers from its fair share of issues. Mr. Fox
This comes at no surprise to us, but it is always nice to see things on YouTube that are accurate rather than shilled for the zombie sheeple. 2 1 Wraith // Z790 Apex | 14900KS | 4090 Suprim X+Byksi Block | 48GB DDR5-8600 | Toughpower GF3 1650W | MO-RA3 360 | Hailea HC-500A || O11D XL EVO Banshee // X870E Carbon | 9950X | 4090 Gaming OC+Alphacool Block | 32GB DDR5-8200 | RM1200x SHIFT | XT45 1080 Nova || Antec C8 Spectre // Z790i Edge | 13900KS | 3090 Ti FTW3 | 32GB DDR5-8200 | RM1000e | EK Nucleus CR360 Direct Die || Prime A21 Half-Breed // Dell Precision 7720 | BGA CPU Filth+MXM Quadro P5000 | 4K Display | Sub-$500 Grade A Refurb | Nothing to Write Home About Mr. Fox YouTube Channel | Mr. Fox @ HWBOT The average response time for a 911 call is 10 minutes. Exactly what the Windows users want. Yup, Microsoft deliver times after time🤮🤢🤮 People need to be desprate if they download latest optional offline installer. Want it bro @Mr. Fox? Ads will be the core feature in new modern Windows OS forwards. A must have........ Yup, sure. Now you see the main reason for the massive hate of customization software for your start menu. These software don't match Microsoft goal. Windows 11 KB5036980 turns on Start menu ads (direct download .msu) Windows 11 April 2024 optional update has been released. This update includes ads for third-party apps in the Start menu. Microsoft has provided direct download links for Windows 11 optional update offline installers (.msu) on its Update Catalog, in addition to the usual Windows Update. Microsoft pushed this update two weeks after introducing it via a Windows 11 Preview Build This wouldn't be the first time Microsoft embeds ads in its operating system. The company did similar promotions with the Windows 10 lock screen, mail app and Start menu. But it seems to be coming at the cost of not optimizing or improving user experience. A few days ago, its former developer criticized Windows 11's Start menu's performance issues on a system with an Intel Core i9 and 128GB RAM. While having certain features is nice for some users, one would not expect the performance and experience to be a trade-off. 1 1 1 "The Killer" ASUS ROG Z790 Apex Encore | 14900KS | 4090 HOF + 20 other graphics cards | 32GB DDR5 | Be Quiet!
